Is the racial balancing a cash grab

Zos is kind enough to change every race and then provide 1 race change token for free! Knowing full well 90% of players have multiple characters they play and min max. Is this just another cash grab?

No it isn't, at least for me. as it stands currently i'm not going to change any of my 10 Charcaters if this hits live and if I do I still have a free race change token

1 free race change token, that currently doesnt even include a name change. Additionally, Race Change Tokens require the Any Race, Any Alliance upgrade to get access to all the races. That's not sufficient given the magnitude of the changes.

Not everyone will use their race change token. Some people don't care to min-max. Others, like me, are pretty attached to our character backstories. I'm not going to be able to change race without also getting a name change token.

I mean, its also a much needed rebalancing and buffs to very underused races. But its certainly a cash grab that impact anyone who chose their race based on passives or combat utility.

Only in the sense that they want to increase the size of the player base by providing multiple options for race choice that are all viable. Currently if you want to play all end game options you really need to be one of the meta races otherwise you are going to have to play that much better to just be on equal footing. Now if they can balance the classes this well then we really will be able to play any race/class combo we want.

I do not understand who can have all same races on 16 characters. I have different races and may not use race change token except for imperial.

I don't believe it's inherently or intended to be a cash grab, but if they don't give us more than one free change, then it is one by default.

It has nothing to do with "kindness". It's really the least they can do. And by that I mean, it's literally the bare minimum, and they need to do much better.

And once again I will disclaim that I'm in no way griping about the changes, the changes are overall pretty cool I think. They just need to give us the flexibility to take advantage of the coolness on the characters we've invested in already.

Well... it kinda is. In case of argonians for example, the regualr "junk" potions might not be enough. So playing an argonian might become too expensive for majority of players.

So you will either have to have access to A LOT of crafted tri-stats potions (be rich in game or have a rich guild)... or you will simply open your wallet and buy crown store tri-stat potions...
