Equipment set effects

Ebon Armory, for example, adds a continuous whirling spheres effect to the player when a complete 5-piece set is worn. Does anyone have a complete list of which sets have this affliction, and is there any way to turn such effects off short of unequipping a piece? I prefer my characters to wear a costume or outfit that gives no clue as to their actual equipment, and these are a complete give-away.

I can see what's working from the character screen, so I don't need the extra feedback.

Those are the ones with orbs.

I believe Imperial Physique gives you a blue glow if you are past the required Tel Var threshold.

I can't think of any others that have a permanent effect.

There is no way to turn them off.

There is no way to turn them off or disguise them, except that Sanctuary and Hircines have identical green orbs.

Interestingly, you can combine two of those sets and they will sometimes sync up so my Worms+ Ebon gives me flashing purple orbs, but that's not really going to help with being inconspicuous.
