What do you want to see in the new Necromancer class?

I can think of somethings, but the biggest thing I hope they implement is a morph that resurrects a certain amount of allies around you within a radius. Naturally this would be really strong and should have a high ult cost. Morphs could include various things like gain ult back per rez, lower cost but lesser radius and people rezzed, etc. I'm sure you can think of some pretty inventing ideas for it.

If you want to compare Necromancer to the Death Knight in World of Warcraft, there's Blood (Tanking), Frost (DPS), and Unholy (DPS/Support? It's been years since I played) Perhaps Necro could be something like that, a jack of all trades class like Warden. I hope it isn't like that though, and that it's mainly a DPS class.

    One day Nightblades will get the buffs we desperately need and deserve, but so far, those buffs are not today.. The Elder Scrolls Online: Nightblade Nerfs Unlimited.

      I don't think AoE res will ever be a thing. Even with 300 Ult Cost, it would have been completely OP! Imagine the stamden/proxy det. raids that massacre 10 times their numbers as it is already using such ults. "A full might of the alliance comes to wipe the raid? Not a problem, we have 3 Necros with ULTI up."

      A buff to resurrection speed (like Templar) is probably going to be a thing somewhere in the passives.

      As for what I want to see? I want to see a fully fleshed out, balanced class. I pray to all the divines, that ZoS doesn't release an OP class that is super fun to play, then chip away at it nerf by nerf (looking at my sad warden who went from a powerful Druid type to a naked mule).

      One thing is for sure. ZoS is most likely to stick to their vision of Heal, Tank, DPS skill trees (and one of them will be completely useless).

      Still... I hope for a nice evil class :relieved: it would be quite refreshing after years of playing holy templars, kind sorcerers and hippie wardens.

      In Falkreath on the 3rd boss when youre killing the 3 ads, the top right ad releases green hands from the ground to imobalize you and do a damage over time. i hope that skill will be available, kinda like talons. except green hands comming out of the ground sounds cool AF!

      I seriously doubt that the Necromancer will be balanced at release. I haven't payed attention to Warden balancing at all. I made a Stam warden with my friend and we messed around but that was about it. People said they used to be OP at launch? If so, I think Necro will be a lot more OP at release than Warden.

        Sometimes it gets in the way even if you were the one who summoned it

        I generally don't run pet builds but I do have a Warden and make it a point to put up the bear when in town. I even put up my non-combat mastiff on my stamsorc if I'm doing a DB quest. They can get in the line of sight while sneaking lol.

        The whole combat pet system needs a rework but I hope they don't pull something like I've seen in other games where the summons not only has an initial cost but also reduces that resource while the pet is active.

          They used to do that once upon a time so i really doubt they'll go back to it.

          The soot-black and deep blue aesthetic of the Soul Cairn.

          Spells that do magicka damage, and not fire/cold/lightning damage. Stam morphs doing disease damage, maybe.

          Persistent Soul Cairn pet summons - boneman, mistman, wrathman.

          Maybe a targeted ghost summons, something like the Dunmers' Ancestral Ghost in TES games, aimed at a single target, and just keeps in their face, attacking until they're dead or the spell expires.

          A comprehensive set of debuffs and draining spells, all explained in terms of draining away the target's animus/soul.

          A single-target, long-range fear spell.

          Ghost Walking - an invisibility spell, because why should NB's have all the fun.

          One of those big ghostly fists that root the target, just like the trash necro's have, but a nice shade of deep blue.

          The usual, random mish-mash of minor this and major that, because there's no point in wishing for anything else.

          What I really don't want is some lumbering great flesh atro that does little damage, won't hold aggro, and keeps wandering off somewhere. We have enough pets in the game like that already.

          If you see me anywhere. Know that I am sitting back with a bag of popcorn, watching as ESO burns the goodwill of its player base with practices that only disrespects the players time like it did to me and many others...

          If a game does not respect your time, best thing to do is move on from it and find something else.
