Indrik mount.... 4 same coloured berries, or 1 of each colour? Which IS IT?

There seems to be an equal amount of people saying you need lets say 4 white berries to evolve the base indrik to the white indrik, and some people are saying you need 1 of each colour to evolve the base to ANY colour of your choosing. Which is it? Ive seen people on both sides arguing with ZOS links so..... does anyone really have a clearer insight into this? If I want the white one, do I skip the dawnwood berry and buy another feather for next mount, or do I need the dawnwood berry to make a white mount, similar to needing the 4 different feathers for the base....

It is 4 of the same berries. If you hit F1 in game and go to help it tells you under the evolving Indrik topic.

Everything is explained here in detail and quite clearly

    https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/55477

Basically, you've got 4 quarters, 1 for each mount. 1st quarter is for Dawnwood indrik and you will have to collect four different berries, to evolve your nascent indrik to dawnwood indrik.

The Midyear mayhem event that is running now, will give you the first of the four berries needed to for Dawnwood indrik.

So it's up to you, but I suspect the white indrik will be in the last quarter.

Thanks for the helpful replies..... I realize now that only the Dawnwood is up for offer.... and anyone who has different preferences will get totally jipped so I get mine (the white one) last..... in a long, long time. I suppose I expected more out of this. D:

Guys... I'm sorry for being dumb. I read the article but I have a question.

Suppose I buy all the Dawnwood berries this quarter and get my Dawnwood indrik. How will I get another nascent indrik for the next evolution in Q2? Math don't add, or do I have to grind another year for another indrik?

Each unique Q1 event will provide you with the opportunity to buy new Indrik Berries from the Impresario:

Midyear Mayhem (In January!) – Dawnwood Berries of Bloom
Morrowind Celebration – Dawnwood Berries of Budding
Thieves Guild & Dark Brotherhood Celebration – Dawnwood Berries of Growth
Jester’s Festival – Dawnwood Berries of Ripeness

Note that the Impresario is only available during each event.
Once you have all four unique Indrik Berries, use any of them to transform your Nascent Indrik mount, replacing it in your Collections UI with a new, evolved one!

If you earn extra tickets, buy the feathers. If you're still short of feathers, then wait until the tickets go on the crown store and your desperation peaks. Since the berries are limited availability, I'd buy the berries first (assuming you want the Dawnwood). Otherwise, I'd just buy feathers for a second nascent so you're ready for when the berries you do want are available (Q2, Q3 or Q4, whenever)

I just did a scouting mission in off peak hours in the server with the lowest population I could find. Got my ticket, a loot box, and no PvP death's. I assume if I stuck around for more missions to get loot boxes, I'd be killed a little more but eh. Got the ticket, I'm good to tomorrow.

Tickets in the Crown Store are planned for the tail end of Q1 ... not anytime soon.

Though your passionless view is refreshing (sarcasm), you can skip this event if you don’t want to PvP.

I must be dense. My reading of the Indrik post at https://elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/55477 is that we need one of each of the four berries to evolve the nascent, but only actually need to use one of them, for the type of your choice. NOT four of the same type (how would you even get 4 of the last berry type available, unless tje last event offers 40 event tickets?).

It says "4. Once you have all four unique Indrik Berries, use any of them to transform your Nascent Indrik mount, replacing it in your Collections UI with a new, evolved one!"

Am I correct, or am I missing something?

    Read a few posts up.

There are 4 unique berries for the Dawnwood Indrik

Meaning having 2 Dawnwood Berries of Bloom wont count. You need one of each Dawnwwod of Bloom, of Budding, of Growth, and of Ripeness

Not really. You need four Dawnwood berries to get the green indrik, but they have to be four DIFFERENT Dawnwood berries. If you get four of the exact same berry, it'll be useless. The first one of those berries is available right now, the rest will be available for future events.

You are missing something. It is clear that there are 4 Dawnwood berry fragments available over the next 4 events and those become the berry you need to evolve a Dawnwood.

By "use any of them" they mean that right click on any of them to use and the 4 will combine to give you the evolve. This is the same mechanic as the feathers for nascent indrik so I'm not sure where the confusion is coming from.

Thanks. This makes the most sense. My confusion came from folks saying you need four of the same berry and other folks seemingly agreeing with that. your description of the mechanic (in terms of using up all four of the different dawnwood berry types with the one actually used determining what Indrik is received) sounds right.

So people are saying one of each dawn berries. I thought there was only 1 dawn berry-thing ?! This makes absolutely no sense! And it's frustrating like hell because people won't explain it properly!

There's only 1 Dawnwood berry right? How the hell am I supposed to get 4 different ones when there's only 1 of that berry?!?!

two main options, the feathers, which you will need for the next indrik, are expected to arrive in the crown store late in Q1. But there are going to be enough tickets available during the quarter's events that you shouldn't need to purchase all of the tickets through crown store. If you're looking to get multiple evolved indriks, then the best thing will be to prioritize on the berries during each quarter, then any remaining tickets earned can go toward feathers, and then crown-purchase any feathers that you're not able to get through tickets. It's only guesswork through the previous quarter activities and any info that ZOS has released, but I'd guess there would be roughly 60-80 tickets made available during each quarter. Once the feathers arrive in the crown store, that number may go down a bit, but you'll still be able to get what you need.

There are three more events in Q1 (so between end of this event and end of March). Each event will have a different berry. By end of March you will have four berries - each a Dawnwood berry, but a different name.

Morrowind Celebration – Dawnwood Berries of Budding

It's a grind, all mmos have them. If you want the last Indrik, you're going to have to do every event the entire year.

So. How much do you want that last Indrik?

I don't believe we know what color the berries need to be, but we know with absolute certainty from this article that we need four DIFFERENT berries to get a single mount. For Q1, all the berries are some type of "Dawnwood" berry. They are the Dawnwood Berries of Bloom, Budding, Growth, and Ripeness. Combining these four berries will only give you a Dawnwood Indrik, and you should not, by that logic, need them for any other Indrik.

    Simple Answer!

The indrik morphs have been divided into 4 quarters of the year... meaning you will need to grind all year to get the 4 morphs.

This yearly quarter ALL berries are named Dawnwood. You need 1 of each colored dawnwood berry to combine and make the dawnwood indrik.

Next yearly quarter ALL berries names will start with Luminous again 1 of each berry color ( 40 tickets ) to combine them and so forth threw the yearly events.

Yes this is quite drawn out as we farmed forever just to get the indrik, but it'll keep you busy! If you want to just buy all the tickets at 250 crowns each your looking at 7500 crowns for 40 tickets. Or if your a subscriber and save the crowns given each month you'll only be short 4 tickets about 1000 crowns worth of tickets at the end of that 4month yearly quarter.

Also be prepared to buy 4 additional feathers ( 40 tickets ) if you have already morphed your boring brown indrik. You will require a new indrik mount for EACH individual morph.

    Hope it helps!
