    There’s a handful of “dead” stars that really only have niche use.

    There’s no point at all in going to 100 in any star due to the harshness of the diminishing returns.

    The numbers not being reflective of actual values (the 18.9% only giving you the 18%) is my biggest gripe with it.


    Other than those three things, it’s a pretty great system. Veteran players get to min-max, casuals get to compensate for some weak points. It’s also the ONLY true progression we have aside from gear tier upgrades.

    That being said, the combat team deciding to balance around max CP is the problem.

    I don’t mind it, I jut hope they slow down on raising max CP all the time. Trying to hit max level is like walking through mud

    It needs a permanent cap and I wouldn't sneeze at a post level-50 questing/kill XP boost. Other than that, though, I think it's the best endgame system I've experienced.

    Pretty easy, CPs provide too much passive power for you characters. Erase stupid max resource scaling with amounts of CPs (this isn't even stated anywhere in the game lol), keep specific stat scaling for CP investments and redesign the bonuses unlocked with certain amounts of CP per star.

    CPs shoulnd't just provide straight stat buffs, but allow you to alter your playstyle by choosing between mechanics. What I'm thinking of is something like:
    - after break free, get 2 seconds of invisibility
    - heal when dodgerolling
    - decrease cost of next skill after heavy attacking

    Those things aren't thought through but should outline the direction I'd like it to head.

    Absolutely terrible, the stars are generally way too powerful, any build not sufficiently specialized along the lines of the cp system is utter garbage, thanks to the general division into defense/sustain/damage there's no actual specialization for playstyle, the cp cap is way too high for truly interesting choices already anyway and nothing feels like it really adds anything to the character, just stat increases basically.

    At CP 827, I'm mostly ambivalent about it. I like assigning my points but not sure that they make a difference lately. I haven't been able to complete content since 810 that I couldn't complete at 600.

    I would literally rather have the veteran rank grind than have this crap. It’s done nothing but bring nerfs that have stripped classes of their identity, and added more lag to pvp (and probably other areas like trials.) I also imagine it turns potential players away when they see that rather than having to level from 1-50 then vet ranks 1-16, they have to get 1-50 then a whopping 800 champion levels. From an outsider perspective, I think I’d never start that one because that seems insane. It also doesn’t really mean anything because sets guide builds in the game regardless, not skill nor CP allocation.

    They did it once already when the game was “officially” a year old and had been in development for years. It is highly unlikely, but there’s always a chance, however small, that maybe they care enough to make the game better. I don’t think they do. But if my voice can join a crowd urging them to do so, I’ll gladly do it.

    Better than the VR grind that made me borequit the game. However I don't exactly feel hyped upon receiving a CP that increases something by a mere 0.05% or something.
