Okay.... that looks like a daily month I'm not gonna care

Got 10 characters, and even that I still have way more pets and mounts for each one of them, and because we only have 1 outfit slot (getting 1 slot each for each character means 15000 crowns, which I am not gonna do), I really just set one up to a good state and just forget all about switching styles

Like I said before, the good thing about daily reward is that if they are not rewarding enough, people simply won't participate

If the majority people stops participating then the reward will go up after, if large amount of people still participate then it will soon become useless (at least for me) and I won't have to give a dime about log in everyday, which stops me from getting "break time" on ESO

So win win either way for me

It’s free *** only for taking a minute to log in. You shouldn’t expect monster rewards. I couldn’t care less, free *** is free ***.

But it's free and I log in every day nearly anyhow for hirelings.

Some might be happy to get the 100k again though.

Free sure seems to have a different meaning to some people than from the definition I learned back in grade school. If we buy the game, pay for dlcs and subscriptions, then how is some glitter free? I care not for the glitter they are throwing. The added stinginess of taking away crates only reinforces the company's negative reputation.

The daily log in rewards is not really about subscribers which that quote OP provided is about subscribers.

The ESO+ perks is what Zos is using to try to gain and keep subscribers and it is good business to have a clear understanding of the intent of each offering. Clouding them, as is done in the OP, is not good business.

Ofc, if a someone who subscribed for the crafting bag and double bank space decides to unsub because of the daily log in rewards then that is their prerogative, but seems rather silly.

when i checked this morning when i woke up i was rather happy with the terrible rewards because it means i don't have to log onto multiple accounts everyday

I honestly hate the login rewards. I was perfectly happy being able to go days without giving ESO a thought. Now I'm always wondering if I need to log in or if I've missed too many to get the mount. I also consider it a win if I'm online late, so I don't have to log in the next day before it resets, should I choose not to play.

It feels more like a chore than a reward. The game has enough chores.

I don't care what the rewards are, I'm just annoyed that the notification thingie keep blinking on my screen and I have to open the damn window and take stuff that clutters up my inventory (food, drink, poisons, exp scrolls) to get rid of it.

Wow, complaining about free daily login rewards when have already given a FREE HOUSE, FREE MOUNT. I'm pretty sure those 2 "Marketing" items should be enough to satisfy entitled people.

I could use the 100k so there is that. And thankfully it's not the last day reward because i won't be able to log in each day. And i am happy with the tel var stones and AP since i don't PvP that much anymore because of lag reasons.

So overall, i am happy with the FREE rewards this month. I won't use the pet, but my wife probably will.

Speak for yourself. I appreciate both the gold and the alliance points. Two more months like this and I'll unlock Vigor, which used to seem completely impossible to my PvP-allergic self.

Holy hell some of you would get a free Ferrari and whine it wasn't a Porsche. Complaining about login freebies just makes you sound like a needy brat.

If a freebie is the only reason you ever log in you might want to consider not logging in at all as the game has nothing for you besides the pixel-nibble for pressing the button and you are artifically inflating the login numbers which is most likely the reason for the login rewards in the first place.

As for the reward list spoiling New Year? get a grip. If the quality of your NY was reliant on the login rewards for ESO then you need to get out more.

Look at it this way: if you got the crown crates people keep demanding it would probably drop a pet and some consumables and you'd be in the exact same situation.

Personally I'd be happy with just currency and consumables. That way if I get it it's a nice extra and if I miss it I don't care because I can get it another way.

You know what the funny thing about complaining about the lack of Crown Crates as daily login rewards lately is? People would probably still complain about how the drops they get from them are crap and how they're worthless as rewards. There really is no pleasing some people.

Personally I'm more than happy with a second 100k, even though I'm sitting on a fairly large amount of gold as it is. Pets and mounts I can give or take, seeing as my chars pretty much all already have pets/mounts suiting them, and the AP/TV are actually really nice since I don't really PvP or do IC. Getting Warhorn/Vigor is a lot easier when you get these little boosts every month. I use the Crown repair kits because they repair ALL the gear in your inventory, not just one piece, and the Tripots are great for leveling characters, as are the foods. Exp scrolls are also nice for leveling alts, or just for grinding out CP if that's something someone is into. Really the only thing that I get annoyed at are the Soul Gems, as those are more than easy to get from just regular gameplay, though they probably do help people new to the game overall. Poisons I don't really use, since Enchants on a weapon seem more useful to me, but I'm sure there are builds where poisons are more useful.

People could be given a million dollars for absolutely nothing whatsoever and find a way to complain about it, I'm not surprised people are throwing a fit over the rewards this month. What everyone has to keep in mind is just because something on any given day doesn't benefit *you*, the game itself isn't catering to you as an individual. There are likely dozens or maybe hundreds of people who find the stuff you label as junk really helpful, especially people new to the game.

100k plus enough Telvar to buy at least 1 hakiejo which sells for around 15k as a prismatic glyph is enough for me.

As a father of a 2 year old and a 2 month old I don't have the time to farm as much as I used too. The cash will buy gold mats needed for new builds.

This. Just take a break and let like two major updates go by then come back and scope it out again.

OMG! I SO agree. I wouldn’t bother with ANY OF THAT TRASH if it wasn’t for that annoying blinking exclamation point in notifications. I delete all that trash. I take the money but 4K AP, 1k telvar, even 100k gold? It’s NOTHING I couldn’t get just playing the game.

The junk the give as “rewards” tempts me NOT to log in just caws! Lol.

Didnt we just had a entire dlc on the reward too. Like last month was a mount too. Its like complaining your daily present wasnt a diamond instead you got a ruby.

I don't have much use for any of the daily rewards but some people like them - each to their own. A lot of the stuff I get is simply destroyed - foods, potions, horse training, XP scrolls, etc., because I don't need them and they simply take up inventory space.

As for being happy just because it's free - if you live in a 5th floor apartment and someone gave you a truck load of manure instead of a nice painting, would you still be happy to accept it just because it's free?
