ESO Says I Don't Have PlayStation Plus ...

Greetings, ladies and gents!

This is a new error, one that began popping up a few days ago — even worse, it's a hit-and-miss bug in the sense that ESO will let me log on and play at times, while the other times it tells me I don't have "realtime gaming privileges" and that I should get PS Plus.

Here's the problem: Not only do I have PS Plus, I also have and continue to be a paid subscriber to ESO via ESO Plus. I checked the statuses of both, and they're active. I also tested my internet connection with other devices — a computer, a Kindle, my smart TV and other PS4 games with online capabilities — and everything works. Heck, even my connection to this website works fine.

What's the deal, Zeni? In all of the years I've played ESO, this is an error I've not seen until now. Is anyone else experiencing this sort of sporadic error?

Now, after restarting my PS4, I get this error: "Login failed. Connection to server timed out. Please try again later." This error, at least, is one I've seen before.

    Every once in a while it'll do that for me on xblive... Usually a restart will fix it for me.

    Try a router reboot. Sounds like packet loss.

    This is the new error message I get: "Loading profile failed: The Sony Entertainment Network account selected does not have realtime multiplayer privileges. Please select another account, or update your permissions."

    Sounds like a PlayStation issue. Log a ticket with those guys, and good luck!!!

    Well, I rebuilt the database on the PS4, and, for now, I can get into ESO.

    This sounds like a PS connectivity issue tbh. Maybe there have been some issue with the PSN in your region idk.
