Queen Ayrenn's residence?

I know this is probably trivial, but for some reason I have to bring this up. Why is Queen Ayrenn by herself inside her unguarded single residence in Marbruk? It doesn't make any sense. She is there sobbing. Hell, If I could, I would have brought her upstairs to help her feel better. Ha ha. By the way, if you want to pelt her with the mudball for this New Life's event, that is a good place.. if you don't know.

Why? Major spoilers for the AD questline.

If you do the AD questline in order, her brother Naemon just died trying to mess with the ritual in Grahtwood meant to make sure Ayrenn was a good ruler. He got turned into a horrible monster and tried to kill her, and the Vestige had to kill him. Now, in Greenshade, his body has gone missing...

Yeah, Ayrenn's a little upset. I'm sure she appreciates being pelted with mud in the holiday spirit...

Yeah, but she's a time traveling, mining robot, so any assassin would have to deal with that first.

For goodness sake, add some guards standing outside her door! Queen Ayrenn's safety is paramount.
