Finding crafting patterns for the holiday writs?

I'm curious to know if anyone else is having some difficulty acquiring these simple patterns, or if anyone can direct me to other ways to get them other than thieving and purchasing them from a guild vendor. I'm already thieving, and although I get many patterns, I have yet to get some of these. As for the guild vendors, since everyone is looking for these patterns, they're typically sold out before I even get down there, within minutes.
I know many of you probably already have these patterns so it isn't an issue for you, but as a relatively new player I'm doing my best to try to get them at the moment, and would very much like to know if there is anything I haven't tried yet.
