Keep/Castle Building/Housing Editor? Guild's Claim the Keep and it Takes on the Guild's Design

-What if ESO allowed guilds to customize a keep in Cyrodiil like we do homes and when you claim a keep, it takes on the customized keep your guild put together and stays that way as long as you own it. Can put crafting stations, dummies, munduses, banker, maybe even siege equipment that is already in place. Maybe guilds can even buy their own Golden Vendor and Cyrodiil vendors to go in the keep. They can put restrictions on where some furniture can go to mitigate a Keep being too hard to take and make the all the stuff the guild placed inside destroyable.
-Additional features to consider could be achievements for Guilds defending their keep for a certain amount of time, thus everyone in Guild gets the achievement or the Guild has a title that can be tied to the name. Maybe Guilds make gold/AP from holding keeps and the longer its defended the more they earn.

-Let's set aside the fear this will cause more lag in Cyrodiil for a moment.

Why make this feature?
1. It will bring different and more types of people to Cyrodiil, the serious designer types.
2. It makes claiming and owning a keep mean more, thus increasing the desire to defend.
3. It would encourage people to go to Cyrodiil to do crafting and defend their keep for pride, gold/ap, or a title.
4. ZOS would have an interest because now they can create more items that can generate income for the game, thus they would have a vested interest.

The more people in Cyrodiil would mean more people desiring it improves, thus it receive more attention? IDK it's an idea... Thoughts? If you like it, please share this post in your discords and comment. Thanks.

I dont think you realize just how short that ownership would be

@Jhalin all I do is pvp. And yes I do. But it would add a dynamic of caring more about a guilds keep than other things necessarily. And it could cause players to stack at a keep more often and readily to defend. Some keeps would be challenging, but you could make keep specific achievements.

They already did. It's called Housing.

@Acrolas really... you can customize the keeps in Cyrodiil... Tell me how you can do it... because I guess I completely missed it.... much like you missed what this post actually said.

    I didn't miss anything.

If people are already flipping out about bots and cheaters and lag and load screens, there's no way that ZOS is going to be able to police and quality-assure guild-edited keeps on a daily basis on top of everything else.

It's not worth the potential for abuse, and it's not worth the extra load time. Keep Housing in Housing.

@Acrolas I haven't heard much about bots recently and the only cheaters are the one's people with a lack a skill imagine to exist. Yes, the lag in vivec is very real.

In the end it doesn’t matter because keeps aren’t instanced. It’s in no way feasible to allow an entire guild’s roster, not to mention all of the guild across the entire server that own keeps, to edit an uninstanced space. Performance is already abysmal, there’s very little to be gained by introducing furnishable keeps, and a whole lot that would go downhill because of them

We don't need the additional stress on the server in pvp that this would cause.

Remember, they had to kill off the deer to lessen the strain on the server.

So until we get a huge improvement in performance in Cyrodiil, I'm going to have to say this is a very bad idea.

    I agree with Acrolas
Keep housing in housing and out of Cyrodiil

People already complain enough about lag in Cyrodiil. Lets not add to it.
