Respec UI: Working as intended?

Something I was pleased to see after returning from a bit of a break was the option to customize which morphs or skill points you wanted to change, and even completely rearrange your entire build from the respec shrine. However there is a bit of confusion regarding the cost I would like to clear up.

At first I assumed that with the new ability to respec just a single morph or ability if I wanted to, the system would only charge me for just the number of changes I actually made. Everyone I asked in zone and several guilds confirmed this was how it should work.

When I actually changed just three abilities and applied the change however, I noticed it charged me the full 12000 gold for a complete respec.

Was this something they intended to implement, only charging 100g per point allocation change, but it proved too troublesome and so they defaulted back to a flat rate regardless of the change? Or is this a bug? (Please say it is a bug!)

Yeah, it charges the full amount for a respec.

...if it's a character you have to spec around a bunch, best thing to do is have excess skill points, so the most you have to do is do the cheap morph-only option, and just swap around the relevant morphs.

It will always charge you for the number of skill points you *could* change, even if you change only one thing.

There are two respect options: Full Respec and Morphs Only. If you are not changing passives, you may want to consider just changing morphs. If you are completely abandoning a skill, you will not recover both skill points from that, though.

    But you have options.

Yes, that the correct feature. Just like with Champion Point respec. Move one CP = 3000g, Move 810 CPs = 3000g.
