devs please... its gone to far this time
I just wanna address pvp issues atm. this patch is by far the worst for a lot of classes and playstyles, medium armor as well as light armor are just not really even worth playing in this patch unless you wanna go 2 sustain sets or a defensive set but either way you will still get vaporized by all of the heavy armor stam builds that just pack so so much damage and are still super tanky and hard to kill. for example fury a heavy armor set gives 740 weapon damage fully stacked up while a set live cleaver alchemist whos sole purpose is to give you super high damage gives only 640 that's 100 less than a heavy armor set that gives you twice the survivability… that's absolutely inane and way way over tuned, there is no reason for these heavy sets to give anymore than like 450 weapon damage maybe 500 but 600 and 740 is just too much damage. the whole point of heavy is that you gain tankyness for the loss of damage output but as it stands now these heavy armor builds have more damage than some of the medium armor and light armor setups which basically means if you not in heavy your gonna have a bad time unless your like a nb then I guess you can do whatever.
the other thing is the speed issue... you devs need to find a way to not make stam builds too fast but just fast enough and not make mag builds have too much slow potential. if you can find a perfect speed balance it would make things a lot better and im sure any good pvp player can tell or help you make those changes, you have the class reps for gods sake and I feel like they are never listened to because some of the changes you guys make just make absolutely no sense.
if you can find a way to balance classes in no cp then great but if not then just get rid if it because the power balance in no cp bgs and sotha sill is way way bigger than it is in a cp environment. I mainly play in no cp and rarily ever play in cp areas and you can feel the difference in power and balance of the classes in bgs compared to vivec. it kinda feels like all the changes are geared towards cp areas of the game but then why have no cp areas. I hate that my class gets beat by almost everything in no cp but then in cp I can do so so much more and can take on more people without getting instakilled.
as for my class which is magicka nightblade just fix shade and fear because it misses half the time and shade never goes off and we need some other survival too if we are going to ceompete in this heavy armor steel tornado meta because everything breaks cloak and our shields are now too small since the nerf to be able to handle that much damage in light armor and we don't have 3 shields like sorc we just have 2 very very small ones that don't hold up to the damage of these heavy armor builds.
really honestly just some common sense and maybe some devs that play their game and know that the things they are changing wont break the game. maybe too you should try to make patches closer together like any other mmo on the market instead of just blanket nerfing everything and seeing how it playes out for a month or 2, like I know you don't care about pvp but some us us enjoy and feel that your just destroying it for no reason you have a big pve community, its not just a pve game so at least give us something that's playable because atm its one of the worst times to pvp since launch and ive been here since beta so ive seen a lot of *** pvp patches.
