How would you rate your experience with the Undaunted Event?

Yes it's time for 𝒜𝓃𝑜𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓇 𝒯𝒽𝓇𝑒𝒶𝒹 𝒜𝒷𝑜𝓊𝓉 𝒯𝒽𝒶𝓉.

Generally though. plenty of threads to Discuss your opinions on things. This is more just to state what your overall experience is. Mostly since I see mostly lots of negative things about it and people complaining that people complain. Feel free to comment all the significant pros and cons from your experience with it.

For me I would say it's mixed.
Starting with the good:
  1. The rewards were generally better than last years event. Atleast to me. I mostly got a lot of dye stamps last years event. Though I probably won't really use the motifs I got or the 2 pets I got I think the rewards were done better this time around and there's alot less actual trash. (though I think there could be more of the trash items if that meant a longer event. Though not totally reverted to the 500 bad dyestamps)
  2. It was mostly fun. the actual dungeons that is.
Things I think should be changed though not really necessarily BAD or GOOD:
  1. How you get rewards. I think this should be altered to be like the tickets and you just get reward box when you get the ticket from last box. Just how the dremora plunder skulls worked in Witches Festival this year.
  2. Longer Event. I think it should have been longer even if there weren't GF issues. It wasn't even quite a full week.
  3. Lower amount of tickets per day. To go with the event being a little longer, maybe less event tickets to go with it. one or two per day. Could event make so the first time you do it it gives more (say 3) and then the rest of the time is less tickets.
things I think are just bad.
  1. False advertisement. Correct me if I'm wrong here, But I don't believe there were any costumes in the rewards this year while the page said there was.
  2. The Bugs. Same bugs as GF tool has had as always, but with no new way of how the event works to make it so it isn't too bad of an issue. (Like making so we just get the reward box from what ever dungeon/pledges or something of that nature as well as random dailies.)
  3. Bad Behaviour. Because we have to do it as random daily we're stuck dealing with alot of players we don't want to deal with and they don't want to deal with us. Such as the FG1 porting, Kicking people, Running through all the dungeon/mob/boss skipping and generally acting overly entitled.

I've probably missed a bunch in every category. But that's good enough for me really.

I was tempted to rate it good, until I realised what I was thinking was 'most of my expectations were met' and my expectations were pretty minimal so it doesn't seem accurate to call that good.

The dungeon finder was extremely annoying. A full group of 4 being kicked because "someone declined" after the ready check was completed is frustrating. Queuing for 40 minutes only to learn that the queue is broken and will never actually put me into a group is even more frustrating. A "fix" which just causes a slightly different problem (going from stuck in the queue to having to spam the button to even join the queue) is also annoying.

But the groups themselves were ok. Absolutely no interaction beyond the bare minimum in PUGs but at least they didn't kick my level 21 healer on sight and we always completed the dungeon. Guild groups were more fun but that's to be expected because it's a fun guild.

The mystery boxes gave me a couple of motifs I learned and may or may not use and some pets I may or may not use occasionally on alts. Nothing exciting but at least it didn't dump a giant spider into my account like the free crown crates once did.

All in all it was ok. I did it, I got my feather and some extra tickets. I went back to almost never doing dungeons.

    Loathed it.

Doing PUGs with guildies was fine because if one of us got the crown we could actually kick those FG1 exploiters. Still didn't prevent the fake roles and PvP'ers from making things more of a nuisance though. "Look! It's a 2H/Bow tank with 13k health who couldn't be assed to slot a taunt."

I always enjoy playing with new people...and it was definitely better than being in Cyrodil!

Only problem is that they didn't extend it, used a terrible method to reset dungeon box drop timer, sometimes you didn't even get box, and that people found out how to exploit it and sour the event for everyone else.

Got Fang Lair chest motif though!

Still, overall...ehhh...I would rather have gotten 5-10 Undaunted keys from box. But somehow ZOS thought Motifs were more valuable, even though they would cut into crown store profit margins. Quite interesting...

Can't complain too much. The finder was glitchy sometimes but I haven't missed a day on either of my characters. I got two pets and various motifs, some of which I needed and some of which I sold for decent gold.

The Dungeon finder was ab-so-lute-ly ghastly. Missed a complete day of randoms for that. The PUG's were mainly a good experience and a lesson in how irrelevant CP is compared to experience. I haven't being doing dungeons for the last 150CP or so, MoS was a fun experience, I haven't done it before. Its was really nice getting motifs as I'm working on Grandmaster craftsman. Generally positive then but glad they didn't extend it as the queuing is painful but I can't just leave an event alone until it's done. :D

I had no issues (NA PC).
My only issue is I now have a lot of nice items which are bound that I have no need for and cannot sell.
I know I can deconstruct them, but I have thousand's of mats already.
They need to stop bind on pickup.

8 out of 10, or something like that.
I've expirienced problems only on day 1 (PC EU), got 3 rare non-CE pets, 1 CE pet, motifs worth over 200k (and I was a little poor after decorating my Psijic Villa). So it was more than okay I guess. Also all the awaliable tickets too.

I was fine with it. Didn't really get anything that I did not already have, so i guess it all goes into the guild store. I usually run dailies anyways, soooo yeah.
Only really complaint, would be the porting into FG1 , before the rest of the group have even ported into whatever rando they were selected for (not even giving you a choice). But thats on the community, not on ZoS.

It was okay when it was working, but I didn't get anything more exciting than motifs in the mystery boxes.

I missed a few days because of overloaded DF and broken queues, though.

Outside of the first evening when I barely managed to get into a random dungeon once in an hour and a half of trying because of GF issues, I had a blast.
Ran a lot of dungeons with guildies, got my Templar from 10 to 22, realized that most of my alts aren't as potato as I thought they were. Got extra skill points on alts in dungeons they hadn't done. Got 3 pets and a number of motifs.

Like nearly everyone else, I found the event in the middle of good and bad. I didn't run into any jerks or exploiters in the pug group. I popped into whatever random dungeon, said hi to the group, in a workmen like fashion we plowed through the bosses, and at the end said tyfg and left. I only did the amount of undaunted runs to get the feathers, realizing now wasn't the time to grind for certain gear. All in all, the event was average.
(Note, I was running my high level healer, so que times weren't a problem for me.)

    Mixed.

Started poorly with all the bugs preventing players from even running a random - ended alright though group finder still glitches and has issues.

Most of the rewards I got were alright, nothing great, some motifs I didn't have and a pet.

Experience wise was decent, most groups were pleasant - even knocked out a few DLC dungeons, though did get put into a disaster of a group trying to muddle through a DLC (I dropped).

A few times had a jerk that would run through the instance with a bunch of lowbies struggling to keep up and / or stay alive, as well as missed a quest or two from impatient players who would not wait a minute on NPCs.

Had a group that wanted to port to FG1 from a DLC - went, had another with a player that ported to FG1 from an easy normal where the rest of us were on lowbies wanting to do the quest for skill point - we kicked them.

Haven't had any technical difficulties whatsoever. But growing really tired of seeing all these "elite PVE'ers" complain everywhere in these forums, about "non worthy people" intruding into their domains. All from banning PVP'ers, to suggesting people who (figuratively spoken) don't pull 40k DPS should do Fungal Grotto 1 and nothing else - because it slows their "box farming" down.

They don't need to explain why they don't have friends to group with. These guys have none of those.

As someone returning to the game, I have mixed feelings about this event, it kinda put a bad taste in my mouth if this is how dungeons are ran on a regular basis. People were doing things to skip content in certain dungeons, several bosses bugged out. Killable, but where they ended up, made looting them impossible.

A lot of the time, I had issues just being able to que up for random dungeon finder. Where clicking it says not available at this time or the other fun issue of a player has declined the invite spam, causing the que to bug out forcing me to restart it, after sitting around for an hour and 40 minutes, finally deciding it was broken to try again.

A few groups I got into, the first thing you see typed into chat was FAKE TANK or FAKE HEALER. My characters were level 10-25, while running this event. I wasn't quite sure what was going on there, till I seen another forum post about it. Considering it is the first few early level dungeons, and almost every group I had, everyone else had CP of 600-800 range, I found this odd, that people would ditch the group, just because someone didn't have a shield or heavy armor on I guess? (just confused, still on this). We finished the dungeons just fine too, so, no idea there.... A lot of the time with mobs / boss just running all over the place.

The googogogo mentality made dungeons on World of Warcraft no longer enjoyable as it is. Sorta sucks to see it is here as well. I find a chest in the dungeon, and stop to pick the lock, by the time I tell the party / loot what is inside for me, they are already half way across the map, already murdering everything in their wake.

I did enjoy getting the 3 pets that I did, even if I will never use them sadly.

I am terrified to see how dungeons pan out at later levels and higher difficulties.

At least the solo content in this game is engaging enough.

It was the first time I had tackled group dungeons, although I have run through public ones.

I mainly liked doing them and hopefully held my own. Twice their was a problem, another player ported to fungal grove and then the other two took off and made straight for the boss which took the enjoyment away , but I guess in main I was lucky and enjoyed them.

I now want to join a guild which welcomes (sort of) newbies to group dungeons as its another part of the game to explore.
My best character is a Nord who has a CP427 level and can also transform to a werewolf . She is the best I have although I am gradually building up an male imperial whom I think will will be quite good in combat

So if you are looking for new members to do dungeons with I am @Keishara PC-EU and would be interested
