vma is LAGGY WTF

Most of the times my skills are delay and i cant even get a clean rotation. even vigor sometimes will take too long just to cast. Why is vma laggy?

Same for me and I’m in UK. Wasn’t too bad until last stage, now it’s almost unbearable.

Appears to be a problem with their anti-DDOS service. Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about it directly, as someone at either ZOS or Zenimax needs to deal with that issue.

Performance has not been good in general. I do play from Southeast Asia, but I use a good routing service and on a normal day PvE is entirely doable and PvP off hours is as well. I can play with minimal lag. But lately even on an empty map, it’s been like playing in syrup. Everything is lagging out, animations frequently don’t show up, it’s been much worse than normal. Noticed the same in dungeons yesterday as well. It’s likely due to the event, ESO really is just not handling any kind of strain very well at all.

OC has a 9+ page thread with the cause of lag/high ping spikes narrowed down via trace routes to the server.
ZOS ignored it all.

Already done. I left ESO+ behind months ago and do not partake in crown crates.

The whole game is. I've randomly lagged out and gotten booted 4 times today. Cyrodiil, Vvardenfell and in Skyreach. The games performance is at an all time low right now.

last night, 3 times i was on the last boss, last round, pressed "A" for the portal... and it just sat there thinking about it - whilst a crem guard spawned and fried me

i gave up and went farmining - left my char there for another day.

It's always been pretty laggy. It's extremely annoying that a solo instance can lag like Cyro.

I run it from Oz and I'm happy if I have a sub 300 ping nowadays.

I find it's helpful to run it during times when the US players have mostly logged. Evening time for me is very early in the morning US time.

It's seems better behaved then.

Same here. I'm on the last boss for ages. I get a lag spike at just the wrong time every time Nd everything yhatvwas suppose to happen over a few seconds time happens at once. I can't find a work around. I do like backflipping into the lava though

Its so bad specially if youre going for a score run. there be times where i wanna do bar swap vigor bar swap and my bigor dont go off. i had a flawless run i was on the 8th boss and i can 1 bang that boss but after i destroyed the tomems i did my regular rotaion, my coltrops didnt drop, my spectral bow didnt go off, and my light attacks were not weaving. then the boss got up and i just raged quit

i dont get why a solo content can be more laggy and delayed than cyrodiil in midnight when theres 1 bar pop

Its worse than normal during events as a matter of course. It's bad at the best of times.

On 330 ping I am close to getting flawless on last 2 stam classes (nb and dk) but with the lag it is continually 1 or 2 deaths each run.

I never thought flawless would be possible on my ping but with patience and a masochistic streak I see it will happen on all classes.......doesn't mean its enjoyable or acceptable that the performance of the game is so bad for those on poor/oceanic ping

It's always laggy running content during an event or close to upcoming maintenance, patch, IMO.

My speedtest ping is usually in the teens up to around 30 max. Fiber optic 150 up and down. None of that seems to matter when you get into VMA. Or trials. Or Cyrodil.

Maybe the console has its own ping?

It varies a bit on class and certain skills. Vigor is terrible with not firing off right. Bar swaps, Jabs, Wings, Sub Assault etc. lately the stuck in combat thing has been pretty stupid.

Then you have like mobs moving around in fast forward; it seems to be well known the flame spinners on the eighth round get de synced. Webs on the sixth round spider boss totems don’t appear.

It feels like a full second delay between when you press a button and your character reacts.
