People porting to Fungal Grotto at the beginning of the dungeon...

Put a stop to this nonsense already. I've had several groups disband over the last few days at the very start because of this. I'm queuing a specific dungeon because i'm trying to get gear from that dungeon, and in some cases and i haven't been the only one. Guess what though? A couple of people port to Fungal Grotto because they want to get their daily done. So i'm left with 2 options, leave and waste 15 mins of my time with the queue penalty, or waste 10 mins doing a dungeon that i have no interest in doing.

If you queue random, you should have to do whatever random you get. That's the whole point of it being random. FIX THIS PLEASE!!!

If you're farming a DLC, now is not the time to be queing for it. While you might be pissy with all the dungeon swapping, the majority got their mind on quick dailies. It's temporary and will go back to normal in 2 days. Sucks but, it's temporary.

Take a friend with you in the queue. If anyone ports, kick them and replace.

I forgot this was a thing. I had so many DLC dungeons pop up the last couple days .

We get 6 days a year to participate in the Undaunted event. Use one of the other 359 to farm your preferred dungeon.

Did you try to say you need exactly that dungeon?

Some people (like me) are glad to go to Fungal Grotto, but if somebody wants this dungeon and we can do it - why not to try.

But it's really not the best time. Too many fake tanks (I even do this myself, just slot taunt and hope it won't be needed), too many mule characters. You group may just not be able to do this dungeon.

I think I was in that dungeon with you. I don't like the dungeon swapping either nor the wasted time before I can queue again after dropping group.

No one knows you need to stay unless you communicate that to them. Personally, if I random queue into a dungeon and find myself sitting in Moon Hunter Keep with a lvl 235 SnB dps and a lvl 160 tank with a bow, I'm going to try to get them to switch to FG1 rather than chewing up my gear (which costs me gold and non-refundable time) while suffering through numerous wipes with them. If you legit need stuff, and you communicate it to me, I'll stick around until it becomes apparent it's not going to work. At that point, it's no one's fault but your own for not organizing a proper group to farm with.

Then i'm sorry for the outburst. I'm just frustrated since it has happened several times today.

Will it kill you to just wait few days or find group with chat, not group finder, while there is event? I don't think so. Inconvinient, of course, but not really a big problem. That's not three weeks of anniversary event.

And with pre-made group you will do dungeon much faster, than with fake tank with bow and 10k health, max cp bank character in 10lvl armor and with only two skills, and just new to this dungeon player.

Again, if someone ports without making sure everyone agrees, kick them.

I can understand the value, for groups that legitimately cannot clear a piece of content, having access to alternate options in the dungeon finder. Though, at that point, I think a better solution would be allowing a non-DLC only option.

In this event, I've randomed into MHK twice, BRF, Falk (I think), and Cradle. One of those MHK runs was with a group that, legitimately, couldn't clear. And, I've had people in freaking Blackheart saying, "port to FG1." ****ING Blackheart Haven. That's not even hard.

That's exactly the point (half of it anyway).

The rewards are the same for either. The investment is not, nor is the chance of a PuG clear. The event amplifies this even further.

Right now, it would seem most people are far more interested in simply going to another intersection to cross the street, or opting to not cross the street at all.

Your point may be valid. The timing doesn't care.

Yeah, I've been matched with my podcast cohost in Direfrost Keep. I was farming specifically, he was in the random normal queue. So, I've seen this happen when I could confirm on both screens.

Do I need to do the event through LFG or can I just go into a dungeon solo and complete it ? If not why would I need to if I can log in and just buy the feather

For feather you can go solo, but for boxes you need random dungeon.

I despise the DLC dungeons. Whenever I get into one I quit (only did them once and i'm done with them).

What pisses me off is that I'm signed to PLUS so I'm forced to have them in my list whenever I use the finder. I feel like CLOSING my Plus subscription just to avoid doing them. That's counter productive, Zenimax. Think about it.

It sounds like you're trying to take advantage of the event to farm gear in a dungeon people don't normally want to do (meaning long queues). Probably hoping for a carry because people just want the box. Wait until the event is over and stop trying to make other people do DLC dungeons for you.

I main a healer. My queues are instant.

I'm also farming Crypt of Hearts 1-2 and WGT. One of them isn't even DLC and the other one is the same difficulty as the non dlc dungeons.

To me the craziest thing is that the only reason I can see behind making everyone use the GF is so that it's not an fg1 event. So they break the game by sending everyone to use the same function at the same time. (sort of a ddos suicide) Then when gf functions properly the players remove the random function by simply porting out so that they CAN make it an fg1 event.

ZoS should have simply let us walk into the dungeons and kill the final bosses for the rewards to begin with.
