Weaving with Magblade

What you guys use for magblade main spammable swallow soul , force pipes or the new meta elemental weapon?I use swallow soul and find weaving quite wonky at higher pings what are your thoughts?

TBH it really depends on what I’m doing, but for parses I use ele weapon.
Have noticed differences in animation speeds so weaving can be a little off. Too fast weaving and everything will go wonky for a bit.

IMO the swallow soul animation is the most fluid . Ele weapon and force pulse don’t seem as natural. (Probably because swallow soul animation uses left hand while staff is on the right ? ) maybe That makes it seem more believable

For dungeons force pulse, due to additional penetration on undebuffed enemies, additional cleave and magicka back on killing blow what allows to use bi-stat. For sustained single target dps elemental weapon, due to lower cost and greatest dps. For solo content or selfheal Swallow Soul for obvious reasons. Every spammable has its uses.

For the last few months I've been playing at 250-300 latency and don't have much trouble weaving Swallow Soul. I find it the most reliable spammable for MagNB as it deals great damage and makes you less reliable on healers.

Force pulse or crushing shock

The abilities work differently so I switch it up between all three:

Crushing shock will fire if an enemy is in front of you, not directly in front of you but in front of you. This is nice in heavy movement and pvp.
Swallow Soul is good for self healing and extra ultimate generation.
Elemental weapon is dependent on your auto attacks. It's terrible in pvp and with any movement.

So...

Crushing shock: pvp and heavy movement
Swallow Soul: if I want self healing so heavy incoming damage trials
Elemental weapon: dummy parses and stacking no movement fights

I play at 380+ with constant spikes ^_^

There should be an option D) they’re all clunky because light/medium/heavy attacks are clunky & only hit/register a small portion of the time. ZOS really needs to work on their targeting system; stuffs been broke for too long.

I use Elemental Weapon unless I need self healing, then I use Swallow Soul.

I almost always use Swallow Soul since I pug a lot and want to be able to self heal. I only use Elemental Weapon when I run with guildmate healers since I know that they can keep me alive, assuming that I don't do something stupid like standing in red or facetanking enemies.
