rexagamemnon✭✭✭✭✭Ive been saying it for a while, can we get a mount that is something different than a reskin of something we have already gotten? Okay like a couple reskins here and there, but its stupid to reskin a current mount 100 times. At this point id be very impressed if ZOS made a two humped (bactrian) camel instead of another reskinned dromedary camel(one hump camels).

Problem solved.
But look at how many "reskin" are sold for high prices, for a limited time, in the mounts department. Its nothing new, really... and as long as enough people pay that price, the powers that be at ZOS will have no reason at all to not price all the reskinned mounts in that range.
Been like that since the early days of the crown store, and will be like that until they shut down the severs I reckon. -

✭With so many fantastic mounts available for gold, for little-effort achievements, from free crown crates (possible, I got 4 top mounts just by doing free crates), for twitch watching of E3 and other Bethesda shows, community Summerset efforts, Morrowind, now Indrik mount soon to be available...
.. and people STILL complain. Like, yeah, if it's expensive don't buy it. But you do get *plenty* of fantastic mounts for free.

The original was 3,000 crowns, yes, but the reskinned one with blue lights was 4,000 crowns. So, 3,600 crowns is the ESO+ discounted price? So, just a 10% discount, as I suspected. Well, it'll be 4,000 crowns next month for everyone, so if you do want it, you save 400 crowns.
I had already decided to pass on it, since I purchased the original and had already passed on the blue-light special. I'm guessing then, that the costume later this month will be at least 2,000 crowns (like the hero costumes) and then discounted to 1,800 crowns for ESO+ members.

Price gouging almost always refers to an essential commodity.
I doubt any reasonable person would consider a digital mount in a video game as essential. No fine line here at all. Completely black and white.

Soundles1990✭✭✭Well the price is just too high for me . I rather go to a restaurant with my girlfriend for that money. 5-10 euros for a mount would have been okay .
