I’m one of the folks on console who use @Blacknight841’s excel spreadsheet to track all the plans. I’m only about 50-60% done, but man does it feel good to be able to check off the last box on a page and rip it off my clipboard, “nerd board” as my wife calls it.

Would be a little further along, but when new dlc drops I’d always ask BK if he needed certain plans before learning them myself. Any he bought from me I generally never ended up finding again, lol. But that’s how the cookie crumbles I guess.

I used a combo of Craftstore and Furniture Catalogue to track known/unknown plans, though I think I preferred FC for this function because it separated out rumoured plans vs ones that were known to be ingame. Craftstore just lumped them all together.

In general, these are my crafting terms:

Guildies who provide the mats get any furniture they want crafted for free.

For those who AREN'T in my guilds: shoot me an ingame mail with the furniture pieces/amounts you want; I'll mail you back the list of mats needed to craft all of it. Send the mats plus a crafting fee and I'll mail the pieces back.
Fee: a flat 5k for up to 10 pieces, rounding up (i.e. 3 pieces = 5k, 10 pieces = 5k, 12 pieces = 10k, 51 pieces = 30k, etc.)

Tips are unnecessary, but of course always appreciated.

First of all to this people who feel the need to belittle Jack for his accomplishment, i hope people do the same to you for the rest of your lives due to the simple fact that not only is it cruel, but it is also very unsportsman like behavior. As for you Jack, congratulations man!

Second of all, to the one of two people who have mentioned he's not the first to do such a feat such as blackiechan over here, i have re-read his post 3 times now and not once did he mention that he was the first to do this unless he had in the past and has edited his post since then to remove that statement. So that being said, the people hounding him to tell him hes not the first, pipe down and re-read the post before making a response of your own.

Yes that add on is called Microsoft Excel. First i went through every item code in the game after the housing stuff came out. Then i typed up a list of all the plans in the game. Followed by printing the 20 page refined checklist. Lastly i went through with a pen and marked of everything as i learned them. Time consuming, yes.... but legit.

Whether you were first or fourth or fifteenth, it doesn't matter. Whether I (or anyone else) care or not about your completion doesn't matter. The fact that it was 'just furniture plans' and 'nothing important' to some people doesn't matter. What matters is that it was a goal you had and it was a goal you finally succeeded in.

CONGRATULATIONS on your success! You (and your helpful guildies) deserve to feel good about this. Bravo!

That is inaccurate, add ons definitely do make it easier to collect plans. On the pc, you can search sites like tamriel trade center , and use add ons to locate furnishing plans in traders across the game on a simple search. On the xbox you must go from zone to zone and individually check traders one at a time looking for plans. We also dont have any way to search for key words in traders either to help find the items we are looking for, and as such you must look through EVERY furnishing plan listed on the trader. Also the xbox for some reason does save sort order when you go trader to trader.

As far as Murkmire farm spots, I have farmed out a little over 2/3 of the Murkier plans form the crafting house. There are 12 items in there to loot, and an outlaw refuge right behind it to go and launder any stolen plans. Although we have only had 4 days with Murkmire, it is the best spot i have found so far.

As for ayleid, farm bonesnap ruins in a small group. We leveled accounts, not just characters, that's how much time we spent in there. We spent weeks in there just running circles, but in the end, we did farm them all out. I wouldn't spend more than an hour or two at a time in there. If it is not dropping, try later.

I stand corrected. somehow I completely spaced out on shopping for patterns becasue to be honest, I'm just too cheap, so most of my collection (and by most I mean probably all but maybe 20 or so patterns) i farmed up personaly with a few vvardenfel purples/blues that I traded for in guild.

(I have a pretty decent collection but nowhere near having all the patterns just yet - currently just under 1500. something to keep striving for :P )

You will find a complete list available to you on this google doc. I usually just circulate an excel, numbers, and pdf version on the “Band app” that we use for guilds. But since I was doing an update to include the Murkmire DLC, I have gone ahead and uploaded it to a google doc for anyone that has no add on to use. The ‘crown store furnisher’ page has not been updated in a while, but the rest is up to date. ENJOY!

(I would caution against printing the whole thing, as it is well over 100 pages. Printing select sheets is much more advisable)
