Improving the Current Trader System

All changes need to be done that will work on all game platforms. The UI needs an update to add intuitive search for the Trader, Categories and sub-listing. This alone will improve the player experience with the Trader System. Game performance will improve as well as less calls will be need to pull pages of items the searcher is not required to wade through.

Each Zones primary trade hub needs to be next to a wayshrine. This means adding in a few wayshrines such as in Hew's Bane, The Rift is pushing it on being a little far. From memory can not remember if all else fall in the range.

Each Zone should have a secondary trade hub that is less convenient to a wayshrine. Some zones have these while others have a single lone trader. Those lone traders should have two more traders added by them to bring them up to a secondary trader hub status. Outlaw Refuge's should have a second trader added to them.

Adding is some traders I think is good to provide a more healthy grow to the trader system as the population has grown. Also by having additional traders near will encourage more use from shoppers to those secondary hubs and Dens.

Bidding on Traders, make the change that a Trader is locked for the week to the winning Guild Bid or even as empty if no bids. If a Guild falls below the 50 members then they don't lose the Trader just it is not available for non-members to use until they get the 50+ required. If a Guild disbands then the Trader still is not available for hire until the next bid deadline, but a tag should indicate that they are accepting bids for the next deadline. This should address the ghost trader issue better and prevent it from spreading.

Not suggesting a lot of changes as more would be a overhaul of the system but I think there is enough to make it better and address issues that people are having.

When new Zones are created with new Traders. As I proposed above, the Trader is locked to taking bids until that first bid deadline. This would eliminate the rush to be first in the zone and provide a balance to all time zones.

    No.

Because of their lore function as sites of religious importance, wayshrines should not be inherently linked to trader locations. I'm okay with having moved Mournhold's wayshrine within the walls, as it is Ayem's holy city. I'm less okay with the ring of traders immediately around it.

"Since time immemorial, devout mortals of Tamriel have built shrines to their Divines at sites that have been recognized as holy and sanctified. Many of these sites were chosen due to specific miracles or blessed events that marked them, though others simply inspire feelings of reverence for matters divine. Because they are located here and there where inspiration struck, rather than at points of convenience, these sites are scattered across the land, and have come to be known as "wayshrines.""

Ok, then move the Traders if need be. Even in our own history commerce has grow around the holy sites and there are enough such locations in ESO to say the lore support this concept.
