i came across this adorable thing today, and i NEED it, so now to the question at hand, what is it, and where can i get my hands on one ?

✭✭✭✭✭I'm not sure if it's my screen but the OPs picture is so dark I couldn't work out what it actually was. But based on the replies it's probably the packrat from the museum on Artaeum, which is slightly different to the data-mined pet. (Edit: it was my screen. Apparently my work PC is really dark.)
Unfortunately neither version has been made available as a pet. I'd love it if it was though - I'd put it in the storage area in my house (along with the actual storage chests and 'ornamental' chests/crates/boxes).

Yeah, that's where it's used in game. I was talking about store images being datamined when Summerset first hit the PTS.
