I watched an obvious noob argue with a couple of obvious veterans about how the game works for about 15 minutes in Auridon a few days ago. He had no idea what he was talking about, but very strong conviction.

Good things that happen in zone chat might be heart-warming but they're fleeting. "Interesting" is usually some version of poisonous. That's just zone.

I haven't spent much time in Murkmire, but the other night I learned via zone chat that looting a certain plant can sometimes give you a little plant for your house or to sell. I had no idea.

Cyro chat. I don't know about other factions/campaigns/platforms, but where I play it can be really helpful. I can't tell you how much I learned just by paying attention to what other people were saying to do. I'm pretty quiet in game so I don't tend to ask questions or chat much, and I'm not in a PvP guild. So I really appreciate those folks that guide the team in situations. Plus we just have some great people and I am constantly amused with the banter.
