Keep corner outcrops changing during and after battles

Last night AD was defending BRK against huge numbers of EP. The siege weapons were maxed for both sides and there was a breach in the north wall. I was standing on the second level on the outcrop that sticks out from the corner of the keep firing down on the EP players below. All of the sudden my screen flickered and the part of the wall I was standing on was gone and the corner of the keep had a new look. Basically the part of the keep, circled in the attached image, was gone and I was standing outside. I was on discord with my guild group and immediately after that happened, several people mentioned that they froze. One person may have disconnected from the server as well.

The first time I experience this happening, several months ago, I was in Faregyl and I died on one of the corner outcrops. The battle had pretty much ended and I was trying to figure out where I should go next. My screen flashed, the outcrop was gone and I was dead suspended in the air outside of the keep.

I don't know if the structure are supposed to change that much, but this keep "redesign" could be causing some of the crashes in Cyrodiil. I believe this started happening when the keep upgrade levels were reworked and It's almost like the code to upgrade keeps is using the wrong textures at times.

I know the keep in the image isn't the correct keep but I wanted to show the outcrop that I'm referring to.
