Why am I taking so much fall damage now

Yesterday I took 17k fall damage from a height I know I’ve jump from plenty of times.

It seems as when ZOS fixed the fall damage block bug they increased fall damage by 20-40%. Was there a patch not for this or am I missing something?

I feel like it is weird now too, I dropped from the top level of a keep outer wall down to the second floor of the keep wall and took 4.7k fall damage...

Fall damage is always a percentage of your health. If you jump the same distance on a toon with 10k health and one with 59k health, their bars both drop the same % even though the 40k damage the tanky toon takes would be more than enough to kill the squishy noob.

That I know. It just seems like the same areas I used to fall from before now do 30% of my health instead of 15%. Maybe I can find a video of me taking fall damage and go test

Why is fall damage an important part of this game again??

They should at least make it blockable, I am really bad at blocking in PVP and PVE and the only way I learnt to block more regularly was whilst practicing it during falling, at a time when fall damage could be blocked.

So ZOS please bring this back.. if only for the training aspect... thanks..

I really miss the floating fall bug it made the game and escapes way more fun imo
