Maybe it's because they're shiny or you see it before you get it so it's less roulette than opening a container or picking a pocket or it's the satisfaction of telling yourself you don't leave piles of coin lying about if you don't want them stolen or maybe it's that I know I won't have to load screen to an outlaw's refuge to fence it but I somehow get more satisfaction in the moment from swiping 8g worth of coins than someone's family heirloom blue treasure.
