Empty Nest, Murkmire quest, Speak to Iskenaaz

Title says it. It tells you to speak to Iskenaaz at a marked location on your map. It is a small one room hut with one wall completely open. On the floor is a dead body you cannot interact with. I tried for 2 hours to do this quest. Tried repairing, tried relogging over and over and over. Tried restarting game. Tried restarting computer. In about each 10 minute span of waiting there are a average of 5 to 10 people who show up trying to do the quest. All failing of course since you cannot interact with the corpse. I know about the bug coming later on the two bosses to kill, but most are never even getting there as they get stuck here first. Never met anyone who was able to complete it so far in the game. I really would like to complete this quest. Well me and few thousand other people of course.

    abandon the quest with ihkenaaz, wait for a day and start quest again. This what fixed it for me.

    Murkmire is probably the worst area I saw - endless cliffs, no wayshrines near daily delves, half of the daily quests are bugged, several main quests are bugged. And I am not even talking about skills - they messed up everything possible here. Typical zos brain fart for now. Will see how fast they will fix the bugs...

    I hate to restart quest but don't see any choice. And yeah I agree, this has got so many bugs it needs a entomologist to fix it. The wayshrine locations are a disaster. I'm still trying to figure out how this got past beta testing. It's been fun when it works but uh yeah, bugs.

    Well deleted the quest, redid it very slowly to make sure I did not miss anything. And got back to meeting Iskenaaz at the Hut with 3 walls and dead body on floor. No Iskenaaz and can't interact with the dead body, again. Sigh............

    ***EDIT*** Ah ha, found the problem and the fix. AFTER going to the 3 wall hut, go back to the egg nest you just came from. NOW Iskenaaz will be standing there. Talk to him. Then go back to the 3 wall hut and NOW there are things to interact with, LOL. uh they mixed up the progression. Got one in front of the other. (face palm)

    Your welcome. I am glad I was able to help someone. I hope they get it fixed in the next patch. I figure the Mods read this stuff and can pass on fixes. Maybe someone else will see this and be able to fix their quest too. That would be nice.

    Hi, I forget where is the start of the quest. :'( And I don't know where is : "egg nest" :(


    EDIT : I find the start of the quest is on the south at the village entrance, in front of the bridge. I have to do it all over again :(

    Thanks, I had the same problem. Searched the whole area, no Iskenaaz. Wrote a ticket - no answer. After accidentally going back to the egg nest, THERE he was, standing innocently and waiting for eggs to hatch... *rolls eyes* - rest worked fine. As you said, the progression is mixed up.

    If you still have map coordinates addon, he is at 64 x 56 ; a little bit west of Bright-Throat village.
