My MagSorc and Pet is DEAD

MY MAGSORC IS DEAD...

ESO is starting to cater more and more for the elite hardcore players, the 10% or 15% of the player base - those kind of people that don't have a job, don't have a life and sit in front of their game 24-7, watching *** on the tv as they play and fantasise and daydream about elves with long ears...
For me I cannot understand why ZOS do not want to cater for the casual player anymore - and please don't even bother telling me to sit for hours and hours, days in and days out practising my rotation - F-off..
I play the game to relax and unwind after a long day, and semi enjoy doing my own thing in-game for an hour or so per day. No that is seemingly gone.

Well, thats pretty insulting. But whatever, the point is ESO does not at all become more difficult and elitist. Very much the opposite is the case, everything gets dumbed down more and more.

Not really. Now you cannot do daylies in peace any more. It's become a chore.

1 hour of dailies? 50 minutes are spent resummoning pets.

Pets seem to be a issue now and I understand that this sucks for Petsorcs. But that does in no way mean that the game in general gets more difficult.

I don't understand why is petsorc dead apart from the shield nerf? Pets are immortal now in group content including dungeons and trials. Some pet skills cost less magicka, cristal frags have higher damage, dreadric pray costs less.

Basically non-pvp pet sorc is better this patch compared to last one unless you were relying a lot on shileds. You just need more practice to not rely on them that much. Some people do vMSA without casting any shields at all on a magicka pet sorc.

1. I feel like you're talking about two very different types of players.The hardcore elite and the RPers. I'm sure there's some overlap, but the idea of folks roleplaying as they're doing a leaderboard run is hilarious.

2. Sorcs aren't dead. I havent pushed mine to the limits, but I was soloing world bosses last night for skulls. The shield is smaller and I had to watch uptime and my health more, but it was kinda okay.

3. Can't comment on pets, I'm not about that life.

not everyone likes the other classes, i dont want to purely because I like playing a mage type. If I didnt I would have switched to mageblade months ago

Game is based on diversity. If you levelled multiple characters but all in a same class, it's your own fault (shortsighted decisions), not the devs'.

I have all classes in multiple alts and don't care if any class is damaged.

no, see this is wrong.

there only immortal in those things, players forget how little of the content group dungeons and trials make up. there dead in all over land content.... hey guess what there is a huge event having players do right now, you guessed it, overland content

also dont get me started on frag, they ruined it.... and pet sorc doesnt even use frag

It's not only the shield nerf and the pet "immortality bug". The third bar is gone, and with it any hope to do something more as a PetSorc than heavy attacking. Furthermore, pets can't hold the aggro any longer while they were useful Offtanks.

And despite ZOS knew of all this, despite the fact we on the PTS urged and begged and threatened, they didn't give any priority to our warnings.

A normal " Entropy - hardened -Curse - Rage - Light OL - Frags" sorc who has never felt the need of bar space in his life will actually appreciate some of the changes, but we PetSorcs are either furious or depressed.

I will not pay a single penny to them until I can play again as a conjurer, which means the "immortality" change must be fixed, and the double baring of pets must be abolished (they should be conjured for a duration like the NB's shade, maybe for 60 seconds ).

I think Eso did a huge mistake by nerfing magsorc so badly, since it is one of the class most played...

Even if I had only one character - that one should be able to fully function in the game, in a way that is comparable to all other classes and characters. If not, the game is not working correctly, and that is the developers' fault.

Who cares if pets are immortal in trials? I am a trials dude but if I count the time I spend in game, it's 90% outside of trials. And outside of trials, pets ATM are just non functional.
Yeah, they cost less to activate? Too bad, you have to perma-respawn them, so the net result is you are spending 300 or so less magicka plus the summon cost plus the dead time to summon them.

Prove it.
Solo Minotaur or any AoE other boss and similar and show a video.

If you can't solo that, then just join a group of 2-3 guys and show you don't need to summon and resummon pets again and again.

My sorc is fine, my pets are NOT.

Ive noticed i have to resummon more but it costs less as does the special.

Its not really a problem. Breaking free of cc is more of a problem for me.
