CWC Event - Dailies node competition.

I'm both excited and worried about the upcoming Clockwork City Celebration Event this november:

"Clockwork City Celebration Event: November 15 - 26

To earn Event Tickets during the Clockwork City Celebration Event, you must complete the DLC zone’s daily quests. You will receive two Event Tickets from the first daily quest you complete each day (in addition to the other regular rewards). You must own or have access to the Clockwork City DLC game pack in order to participate in this event."

If I'm thinking correctly, these dailies are based on collecting stuff from nodes that are shared among all players. The event will crowd the zone and soon we will start to hate each other instead of building love <3 like when we have to fight WBs in events.

Is this on PTS? Can something be done about it? Grouping works to mitigate it?

There are four different dailies in Clockwork City : crow, world boss, Slag town, and delve. The Slag town dailies definitely have you competing with other players for nodes, as does the imperfect WB daily. The other WB daily has you killing spawns which can be competitive but doesn't have to be. AFAIK the delve dailies and the crow ones are not competitive (although I haven't done many of the crow ones since I find them annoying).

Thanks both for the detailed answers! I didn't know about the other dailies.

    It was awesome indeed :)

Personally I'm just going to stock items for the crow daily. Every time I do the Slag Town daily, I get annoyed, because the items take a while to respawn after I claim one, and the upstairs/downstairs nature of the Fundament is annoying to navigate when I'm trying to get done in a hurry.

The delve dailies in the Halls of Regulation are pretty 'competitive' even on calm days as the factotums drops are RNG based (because it's so much fun...) and there's only a limited amount of them. Will be a cluster...thing with all but the crow and Shadow Cleft dailies during the event :s

    theres 4 dailies in cwc:
    - kill a worldboss
    - collect some random items from a delve
    - harvest 6 nodes
    - bring items to the crows

last one is by far the fastest, if u stack up the stuff they want before. the rotation is:
    5 daedric husks, 4 carapace + 3 foul hide
5 daedric husks, 4 carapace + 3 foul hide (this might be a standin for sth i didnt discover?)
    5 stolen "dishes"
3 ornates armorpieces (they take the ones u get for t1 crafting writs)
    5 stolen "cosmetics"
    3 ectoplasm + 3 suppleroots + 2 elemental essence
    5 stolen "toys"

The stolen items do not need to come from cwc and can be laundered. u can e.g. pickpickstab the goblins w/o fangs in vvardenfell, for the motifbooks, and launder whites they drop from the fitting types, put them in your bank and turn them in on different chars.
To unlock those dailies, u need to complete "Lost in the Gloam" (the most awesome questline in the game so far).

For the stolen items, I would hitup skywatch.

I'm not worried about it. It'll be like how it was during the anniversary event for the entire game when people were doing dailies like crazy. They are still possible to do, it just takes a little while longer. Or you just skip it for that day.
I play ESO on XBOX NA

You do not need to launder the stolen items for the Crow dailies. The crow will accept stolen goods that have not been laundered, thus saving you some gold.

Yes, you're right. When I typed that up for some reason I was only thinking of the Shadow Cleft dailies.
I might try only doing that delve with a character who hasn't been to Clockwork at all yet, and see if I only get delve dailies there. I already have the full Ebonshadow and Apostle motifs, so I'm not feeling any need to do dailies past the minimum for the event.
