I have some trouble with my main character!

Hi all. I have a problem with my main char. There's simply no targeting on any enemies when i play as him. No red around enemies, no white around NPC's nor no yellow around neutral enemies. Is there any new settings within the game that i have accidently ticked on?

Or could it be addonbased? My other characters are seemingly fine.

I think it’s under interface. There’s options for the glows around people and quests at the bottom (I play on console so it might be different)

There are settings for NPC and Mob Glow. It is character independent.

BTW, the White Glow is turned off if you have Prevent Harming Innocents turned on.

Are you tab targeting your enemies? (you can bind it to any key on PC, I believe it is pressing the right thumbstick on console, but not positive)

It blows my mind how often I ask this question and the answer is no. The targeting system in this game is far from perfect, but you should always tab target whatever you are trying to kill.

I have tab unbound for potions and q for weapon swap. It doesn't give priority or litterally any advantage but seeing the through walls. Is there a pourpose besides that to do it? I mean I'm flawless on every class and never even had it bound. (Just an example to show it's not needed) unless my missing something big

Hello, sorry for late reply. I went into the settings and i could not find anything related to it under interface.

Did you check the Gameplay, Graphics and Interface sections?

Also, there is a passive that comes from an armor set and one that comes from I think one of the NB skills that put a visual effect on mobs. I think there are a couple of other things too.

Yep, all of them! And no this isn't a new skill or something, this is the way the game has been since release, with those colored auras around depending on NPC/Enemy.

Ok, i've been doing some more test now, and there are more characters that are affected by this. First picture is my main character who is affected by this:



Second is my Nord female sorc, who is not affected by it:




Last is my Breton sorc who is affected by it:



Anyone? Please, i'm not saying it makes the game unplayable, but it certainly makes it less enjoyable.
