Trying to install Arena... feeling nostagic, BUT!

I can't get it to install. I downloaded it from the official site, and the readme said I should install, then run the DOSbox installer... but there IS no such installer. So, I tried running the various .exe and .bat files in the game folder, but got the message that they're incompatible with 64 bit Windows.

Any suggestions how I might get around this?

(I know this isn't an ESO thing, but I'm not sure where else to ask)

I got my copy from GOG https://gog.com/ and it comes with it's own dosbox version.
Never had a problem with installing and running it.

I can look at how it's wrapped into dosbox tonight, i'm still at work right now ...

You can download Dosbox separately and set it up. I played through a couple of the old D&D gold box games last summer using dosbox, go to Dosbox.com and click Downloads.
Let us know if it works, I now feel like re-playing Daggerfall!

    Greetings,

While we are glad to see members getting in touch with their Elder Scrolls roots, we must close this thread as these are the forums for ESO. However, if you would like to continue this conversation, we would like to advise using our Bethesda forums here.

    Thank you for your understanding,
