What's the point of Murkmire when...

When ZoS can't even get a grip on the lag in its current state. So is this new update, which contains more content than what's already in the game gonna create less lag? Doubtful.

I don't think this is how it works.

They aren't even the same teams. They have put out a time line on content release. They will keep pace with that while another team works on the lag issues

What lag? I only get lag under certain circumstances or when there is something wrong with MY internet.

No lag here, the more content the merrier. Besides, DLCs are part of the subscription package so there would soon be complaints if they were stopped.

I take it you’ve never opened the Alliance War menu and traveled to Cyrodiil.

Sometimes it depends on where you are physically in the world, because I go to Cyrodiil sometimes, and don't get lag that often there, either, although I do sometimes. I never get any in PvE, and only seldom get it in Cyrodiil.

And what exactly does Cyrodiil lag have to do with lag in PvE zones?

I was gonna also say 'What lag?' too. I don't play Cyrodiil or PvP in general because I just don't like it (other than occasional 1v1s), so I guess that means no worries for me. :)

Nothing? And no one said it did? OP only said they don't get lag. There no was no specification as to the location. So I merely deduced that they never, or at least seldom, travel to Cyrodiil, where a large portion of the population claims to frequently lag.

I think the OP misunderstands totally
there are several teams involved in any project

lore wrtiing, mission writing, art asset creation, combat manipulation, and all other artistic function

& network performance, server maintenance, QA & all other engineering functions

ZOS has staff for the first group, but like all Zenimax divisions no clue what the 2nd group is, & this is not really ZOS' fault, they have just inherited the parent companies defaults (or is that faults)

I think the lag is on your part, not theirs.
