For a potion at maximum rank, this reduces the duration of Major Expedition from 40.6 second to 12.5 seconds, before any modifications from things such as enchantments or passives.

Am I the only one who kinda wants to cry?First my warden wings speed duration was sliced by more than 50% and now this. So nervous for live!!

I will be totally ok with this change if they'll finally make snares beeing minor/major (30/60% lets say) system where major snare with longer durations is granted only through ultimates.

This would make 0 difference, if your being chased by multiple players even a 30% snare is enough for them to get many attacks off, especially without having major expedition now. You have to remove snares all the time in 1vx.

This would make huge difference You just dont realize that since You dont know how many things currently applies snare.
Duration needed to be changed a long time ago.

While true, it's a shame because it impacts PvE activities like thievery. You know those potions we get from thieves troves that grant a nice long speed boost? They're going to be a lot less useful now.
It's par for the course that things get ruined in PvE for the sake of PvP, but it would be nice if they added in a new ability to legerdemain or the Thieves Guild skill lines to compensate for this. Dark Brotherhood gives you a speed boost after murdering someone. Can we have a speed boost after we steal an owned item from NPCs or containers?

Take my agree. It's amazing how they can't see this. If they take something away cuz of pvp then why can't they add something to give back to pve? Seriously.
Good post man.
Nothing is being removed, just reduced. 12 seconds is still plenty of time to make an escape from stealing something in pve.Why do so many things need to be removed because of pvp (or removed from pvp because of pve) without implementing a perfectly reasonable replacement to said game play?

I don’t really PvP much but I relied on my wings for some PvE dungeons with mechanics that left me having to speed to protection circles/portals or something similar. Definitely a shame that this seems to have been considered exclusively from a PvP perspective
This patch only caters to zerglings now
No more 1vXing
Best enjoy the last few weeks of solo play possible because next patch will just be roots and perma snares

repeating this does not make it true
how about you 1 v X'rs actually 1 v X instead of picking off one at a time and then running away giggling but and later crying in the forums about how you were chased down before you got a camp down for the rest of the 'solo' players they hang about with. 10 Nb's per 100m is not solo …
on topic : one potion glyph providing 110% uptime for any pot buff is too much speed or other wise

Because stand your ground doesn't exist. If you played solo you would know it's not possible to fight a large group of players in open field. Good luck surviving the multiple bleeds, zaan, caluurions and valykns flying at you.
