when is HDR coming to pc ?

I was wondering since it's already implemented in the game and is active on windows xbox it should not be so hard to activate it on pc right ?

you can use reshaders to make the game not look that dull c: theres even a mod on nexusmods for that so if you are thirsty for more saturated colors you could try that

i know its not what you want but its a solution i guess, who knows when or if they will add that to PC

If you have a poor HDR setup...

If you have a decent HDR setup then its awesome.

I use ReShade. Nvidia FreeSync works too.

I run Reshade already with all the best mods and extra eyecandy and all that comfortably at 100-120hz fps g-sync in 4K resolution but my HDR is idling and you know how it goes: once you have seen the best your monitor can handle there's no way back

You dont want the Current HDR implementation believe me, its so soo far from Real HDR, it is just a oversaturated ***.
I have been watching it for months on my 65inch Samsung KS8000, with professional calibration, and also custom callibrations does not matter, ESO HDR is looking like crap, its just more saturation unlike games like FarCry 5, StarWars Battlefront 2, The Last of Us remastared where the HDR implementation is a masterpiece.

awww what a letdown Thanks for the info: After finishing SOTTR with it's awesome HDR implementation it's so hard to go back to SDR...

Whenever MS fixes it on Windows, I imagine. As little as two months ago it greyed out the whole screen when enabled and had spotty at best implementation (1080TI) in most games.

no, it's the implementation by the game. The Microsoft part even though still not fully mature is working properly with the latest nvidia drivers and my monitor. However it's up to the game devs to implement it properly.

The latest tomb raider SOTTR for instance looks beautiful in HDR with all dark colors boosted nicely in brightness but the whole game is carefully tunedin order to never get a direct yellow/white light flashing in the eyes and brightness is limited/dimmed in those parts.

Then another game where I turn HDR it seems to be just the same game with same dull colors but now with lots of white flashes annoyingly blinding my eyes up to the point where turn 'that HDR mess' off.
