What was your first ESO build?

Came in with Morrowind and had no idea how builds worked..still learning actually. Picked a dark elf since it reminded me of the night elves from WOW and chose the warden class because it came with the game. Ran destro/bow wearing spider cultist and silks of the sun because it made me think my flame reach would hit like a wrecking ball. Hopped into Kyne for a couple of months and proceeded to reach spam every one in sight. Made me smile the first time one of my flame reaches knocked someone off the top of a keep. Good times haha, so what was your first build?

Stamblade Dunmer. Didn't work very well (still doesn't) because of 2 second lag. Retired her to crafter....

My first build was as a trial healer. I cannot recall the gear since magicka gear back then was not really good compared to what was available for stam builds except for the gear we could get from the trials.

Healing springs, combat prayer, shards, caltrops, war horn since stam dumps were beneficial back then. dodge and block cost much more today.

That is about all I can recall.

I've been playing since Morrowind too and my first character was a Dark Elf MagDK I originally wanted an Imperial as my first character because they're my favourite race, but I was a bit disheartened at having to pay extra for them so I went for Dark Elf (seeing as they're my overall second favourite race anyway, and as it was Morrowind, it only seemed appropriate ) I had no clue how builds worked though and still have trouble with them today, so she used a hodgepodge of ineffective skills from outdated guides, and ran what are now considered highly suboptimal light armour sets and destro staves. Her DPS was abysmal because of it, so now she's retired and has taken up permanent residency in my character list as a crafter

I remember trying sooo hard to get Dreugh King Slayer when I was V14 on Stam DK First set I ever golded.

My first build was a dark elf stam nightblade WW wearing 5 night silence, 4 hist bark and 3 endurance all heavy in reinforced and he still is now .

He's been wearing the same gear since he hit VR16 and spent 2 months farming the alloys to gold it all out years ago although I did retire him quite a while ago too, now hes just my crafter .

I started out with a Nord Nightblade. Had no idea what I was doing. I wanted to play a sneaky archer like I did in Skyrim. That did not go so well. I tried 2 handed, sword and shield, even a bit of dual wield with her. Nothing seems to stick. She is on "vacation" for the time being.

First character was a infinite cloaking Magicka NB that I got to VR2 who did more hiding than killing.. That was on the PS4.

Argonian dk in 2014-15 wearing nights silence and deaths wind iirc, then altmer magplar main when I picked eso back up in late 2017 with many many many sets.

My first real build was at VR14 I used martial knowledge 4 pcs and the healer set 3 rings and neck from DSA with 4 seducer.

Was a pvp mdk build with front bar back bar fire staves.

It's worked well tbh but anything worked good when u where in gold gear at VR14 fighting brand new players on console. Use to get PMs from players asking what class has the meteor ult.

ESO was my first ever MMO so I was clueless. My first build was a magicka sorc with attribute points spread evenly between all three. She wore Red Mountain armor! I don't remember how she did it but she completed all faction quests, and Cadwell's Silver and Gold, and a bunch of normal and vet dungeons. I quit playing her for 4 years and just recently fixed her build and started playing her again.

High Elf Templar heal tank.

With all the nerfs to templar heals over the years and the increase in incoming damage that forced me to spend more and more attributes and set bonuses on health it's now worse at healing than a stam DD running vigor, but it's still the char I like developing experimental builds for the most. And I have to experiment, because there are no build guides for magicka templar tanks. Next project now that stam regen will be fixed in murkmire: magicka furnace+crest of cyrodiil.

First build was in March 2017 - a nord DK tank with twice born star and morkuldin- 9 traits got to be good right :-) Had no idea what I was doing. Since I mainly play solo can still do all overland content with this character but mainly used as my main crafter - he has the grandmaster crafter achievement and knows all the motifs currently in the game except welkinar.

A dual wielding Nord because all we had during the very early beta was Bleakrock Isle.

High elf magika sorcerer.
Thi is also my main build. Crafter and gear farmer for all other characters. Also sugar mommy for my all other character, i transfer gear and gold from this char to other char. Max undaunted and fighter guild level. almost all craft skill.

Breton Magicka Sorcerer Pet Build and a Nord Magicka Nightblade. Leveled them both, switching only when I got bored with which one I'm playing. Used the former to reach CP 160 then maxed the latter.

Templar wood elf with attributes spread evenly with bow/dual wield. Didn't even wear set armour just used to craft my own non set armour with what ever trait I fancied at the time. No pvp or group content just used to quest, thinking it was like Skyrim with other people running round. Took me sooo long to hit lvl50. Always heavy armour too. Couldn't understand why anyone would pick light or medium armour over heavy 😂

My very first was a argonian sorc but i didn't like sorc sodeleted the char and switched to magblade healer. loved it. then they nerfed magblade healers. so i reskilled him to stamblade, hated it...so he became my crafter. then after a while i gave magblade dd a chance. still my favourite class and playstyle he's my main again and I'm happy so far

Bosmer Templer and the build was Punkturing Sweep. Was the only way to survive back then
Still alive an kicking. I had a lot of ESO+ crowns after the summer and made a race change to Imperial. But rather for the fun then for the stats.

Khajiit NB sap tank back in 1.3/4. Syrabane + warlock. Infinite sustain, many many ulti's, lots of fun.
