RPG aspects in "real" life?

Hello guys,

I was wondering recently about how we all love games and how we enjoy progress in our favourite rpg titles such as achievements, exp points etc. If you can have some RPG aspects in your real living life, what would it be?
And don't enroll that fact that life is more-like RPG itself (you know, increasing your abilities etc).

I would like some cool experience bar with leaderboards!

Not something we've got in ESO but if we're talking RPGs generally then my first choice would be saved games.

Followed closely by the ability to respawn after death.

Remember waking up in the middle of the day with an serious hangover after going down to take ONE beer, exam in two days.
My first thought then realizing the situation was that I had to load an previous save.

I dont think they accept literal junk.

Wait, I also need the ability to carry 2-3 times my body weight in gear, treasure, and literal junk I scrounged up.

...I always thought my life -really- could use a character recustomization option... since I definitely would want a racechange to "Dunmer" and maybe some other improvements...

But alas, all I get is thinking about alchemy when I see some bugloss in RL, and then remember it doesn't work like that outside the game...

A stamina bar when I sprint that makes me too tired to run after 5 seconds so I can find some way to justify it in-game

is RL like RPG though? in RL you get weaker and older as time pass by.

When my wife nags at me about getting chores done around the house I always tell her that I know and have to get to level 50. It’s an old joke I have been using for years from the early MMO years.

is RL like RPG though? in RL you get weaker and older as time pass by.

Not if you use cheats/hacks...

Console commands. That way I can have whatever I want! God mode, become master at all skills, have unlimited amounts of money, force the crush of my life to marry me, kill whoever I want with the click of a finger, and... umm... Well, that went dark quick.

It would be great if we had healing potions IRL. "Oh, you have advanced kidney failure, no worries. Just drink this." Although I guess insurance would stil charge you a 1000% markup.

I've had a few RPG moments IRL.

The first was a Skyrim moment. I was walking along a quiet country path on a sunny day, deep in thought. Suddenly a winged shadow passed straight over me from behind and headed down the path. Fortunately, it was only a red kite and not a red dragon but nonetheless it gave me a bit of a start.

Lately I've been getting ESO moments. Whenever I'm out walking and I feel a bit threatened by the closeness of a passing vehicle I can feel my body getting ready to press the roll dodge button. How dumb I would I feel explaining that one to St Peter

Anyway I would take save games and quite a quick amount of gold (money) through selling junk items. Oh, and some epic soundtracks! You know, sometimes it would be epic as **** if some epic music from Skyrim, Witcher or these games just drop in the right time

My brother once had this cat who would take coins from him. For the longest, time though he was blaming the other brother for the crimes then one day they found out the truth and then went to get drinks after with the cat savings.
