Where's a good place to quickly farm trash potions?

I only use the dropped potions the majority of the time, and sometimes I run out and wanna refill quickly. Anyone know a good spot to stock up?

Guild traders. ^^ Seriously. People sell them dirt cheap. Magicka people sell stacks of stamina potions, stamina people sell magicka.

...Duh... Why didn't I think of that, haha. Thanks, @John_Falstaff !

Still wouldn't mind hearing farm spots, if anyone knows some good ones. Sometimes I just wanna mindlessly kill stuff while getting sellable loot and whatnot.

I don't think there is farming spots since there's nowhere in the game they drop 100% reliably or noticeably different. Pretty sure the baseline drop of them is the same through the entire game world.

Most of the ones you see in guild traders are excess crafted when doing writs, and garbage pulled out of the writ boxes when redeemed. That right there is the biggest source of junk potions - other than that, RNG drops through the world.

I do know you can Undanted's Delve Daily + Figther/Mage Guilds daily and always get some.

Tbh if you're willing to invest time farming trash pots, you would be infinitely better off dumping that time into Alchemy and just making your own, better potions. 0-50 in alchemy is a joke, and stocking up on ingredients isn't too bad. It would literally save so much time in the longrun versus trying to "farm" trash pots..

@lagrue , somehow, I haven't seen a lot of crafted ones at guild traders - at least crafted potions equivalent to trash ones. I can't see much use selling the excess from daily writs - the excess is usually just a few of them, selling such small amount is a waste of trader slot, so either sell to merchant or keep in inventory because they'll automatically qualify for subsequent dailies.

But dropped trash potions are everywhere, they just tend to accumulate in inventory when not used, so people sell stacks of plain dropped essense of stamina/health/magicka everywhere. Typically 5-7 gold per.

Personally, if I am running low I will usually buy them at a guild trader. However, I run dungeons a few times a week, and I always get a healthy amount of trash pots that way.
