Is there a list of furnishing plans and items that only drop in certain areas or from certain places? I know there's a few you're meant to pickpocket, but I'd like to know about Dwemer, Alinor ect. locations before I go running around.

Well, Dwemer are from Dwemer delves, public dungeons and dungeons, really rare drops
Ayleid, same. Ayleid delves and public dungeons - extremely rare drops, maybe not as rare as Dwemer
For Alinor, anything in Summerset: wardrobes, urns, either stolen or looted, pickpocket also, although in this case, wardrobes and urns are your best bet.0
