A Reminder That Vampire and Werewolf Cures Are Cheap In-Game

After seeing the October showcase, I want to remind people that curing vampire and werewolf of cheap in-game. A little over 600 gold at the Reaper's March, Rift, and Bangkorai mages guilds from the priest. Don't spend money on something that cheap.

✭✭✭✭✭If these cures cost anything more than 5 crowns in the store, I'll be very disappointed in ZOS. Not surprised, just disappointed at the lengths they will go to get a bit more money from people, not due to a shiny new mount or even something unique at all. Charging real world money for what amounts to 600 gold in game and taking advantage of the players who are unaware of that way to cure themselves is just sad.3 -

You have a master crafter. Do one rubedite/rubedo/ruby/ancestor silk/corresponding provisioning/enchanting/alchemy level writ and turn it in. You have your 600 gold. Do one set of all the normal writs, you have more than 600 gold.

✭✭✭I really don't think ZOS is trying to prey on people who don't know how or where to cure their disease.
This is for the people who want to drop right this second for a specific purpose. Taking too much fire damage and can't handle it, you can now drop immediately instead of having to leave and waste time. Your a Vamp in Cyrodiil but your group is all WW and you want to join? Now you can drop Vamp and buy WW in a couple seconds no need to requeue.

I'm going to assume you thought 600k, which is 600,000 gold and is a lot of money to some players.

✭Hmm... while I have no desire to heal my chars from vampirism, I do hope that this new service doesn't mean that they are going to remove curing option from inside the game (through the priest) or charge 600k instead of 600 g.1 -

No, the priest who can cure you charges gold for it. If I recall correctly, the one time I went looking for the cure for "sanies lupinius", the cost was 69 gold. I didn't want to cure lycanthropy for that character, just get rid of the "disease" trigger that kept having Thoreki show up to tell me to go to the shrine and talk to hircine on my max werewolf ww character.
