If they do an anniversary event for every past and future DLC, ESO would be in a constant state of some anniversary event. Sorry, I vote no.

    This.

That is true, but we could have shorter anniversaries like only during weekends. DLC zone anniversaries should not be missed out.

DLC anniversaries are AWESOME. they don't have to be long, but getting double rewards for a short time is great. not to mention discounts on DLC purchases :P

there are a few of the DLCs which I'd like to buy...I'm hoping there is some kind of CWC DLC discount sale...

I have eso plus, but, I'd like to be able to unsubscribe at some point and still have access to the DLCs (minus the dungeon stuff)...

If they're one per quarter, all that happens is the number of simultaneous anniversaries in each event goes up. But they should get bigger in some way, if they don't get more numerous.

11 DLCs, including Summerset and you list 4 dlcs and one non dlc and call it 90%. I suggest doing a math check.

Besides, Cyrodiil, the PvP event, is not an anniversary event for anything nor is the current Summerset event which is kind of obvious this one will not repeat.

So, in the end you mentioned 3 DLC anniversary events we have had out of 11 total DLCs. We can take a few off the top since we are not at their anniversary and call it 33%.

Edit: besides, we have not had a recurring anniversary event for any DLC that was released after TG. Morrowind did not get one that that would have probably been a better one to start with since it became a DLC on it's anniversary.

dude I didnt list all, since I didnt think I needed too, like Dark Brotherhood is part of the thieves guild dlc

and dungeon dlcs like dragon bones, wolfhunter, horns of the reach dont count toward this list since, they wont just do a event for a dungeon

so yeah, its only CWC thats left on the list of real map content dlc that havent had a event yet

I think ZOS shot themselves in the foot with DLC anniversary events. While they are nice gestures, it'll come to a point that Anniversary Events would overlap each other considering the quarterly DLC updates, resulting in either several events happening spontaneously (Which going by the Midyear event and Iibramis Event overlapping, wasn't received well) or events being skipped all together.

They should have incorporated more Holiday Events and incorporated the double drops as side bonuses of the Holiday Events (Like, add a Valentine's Event and have it also offer double drops in Morrowind as a side benefit while the Valentine event occurs in base game content)

The more events the better. I don't get why people are against more events. You don't want them? Then dont participate. Problem solved lol.

I don't always do the events myself. They're a nice touch that brings some life back into a zone. I remember trying to do the crow boss daily a little while back... and was the only person sitting there for long enough that I went "nope, going to do something else now." I mean, I was on my tank so it wouldn't have killed me (probably) but it would have taken bloody forever...

They are not doing events for every single DLC, but they are doing for zone content DLCs, which is nice and not excessive in any way.

Anniversaries are awesome. And CWC is imo the best DLC we got so far.

You can see a furniture pack in PTS which contains Clockwork themed stuff, so there likely to be an event. Looking forward for Sotha Sil statue ^^

No events won't necessarily overlap. Orsinium event was brought forward to August this year instead of November.

I personally love the anniversary events and it's good to see all the players they bring back to the game.

Clockwork City should definitely be celebrated with an anniversary event. Double loot from Asylum Sanctorium and the 4 dailies, double loot from resource nodes, and some CWC crown store items returning and on sale - we still lack the Sotha Sil furniture pack, and I'm still hoping for a Nix Hound Fabricant pet.

If someone is concerned about "too many anniversaries" if that's even a thing, then it should be old DLC phased out to give room for new DLC, not skipping new DLC anniversaries to cater to older DLC.

I'm fine with dropping anniversary DLC events for IC and Orsinium eventually, it's starting to become quite old content by now.

Not sure why they seem to pick and choose. Honestly I think they should just clump them together. Q1 all zones that were Q1 get double stuff, Q3 all Q3 DLCs get double stuff. Everywhere gets an event, and it's not murdering the performance of a singular zone!

I don't see this happening, but it sure would be awesome! A new heist for Thieves' Guild, new sacrament for Brotherhood, etc.

Given the size and success of this MMO, I think there should be some kind of event going on nearly all the time. It doesn't have to be tied to anything specific. It could be random. Just little bonus things all year long all the time. It doesn't need to be scheduled or announced or anything except on the logon screen.

Examples of things that they could just post when I log in and it would give me something unique to do if I wanted:

Fishing Event - The fish are migrating over the next few days! Catch fish twice as fast!
Storm Damage - A big storm came through and damaged the trees. Double wood drops for next 48 hours!
Crime Spree - The town guards are working extra long hours this weekend due to recent activities of the thieves guild. They sure look tired! (detect radius of guards is reduced)

And so on... The idea is you pick one little thing and mess with it for a couple days There should be one or more things like this going on all the time. It could be zone specific or not. Doesn't matter to me.

Still subject to change as it's PTS material, but a good outline of what the event will look like:

    Clockwork City Celebration
For the first time, we’ll be celebrating the Clockwork City DLC with a new event, and you’ll be able to test it this week on the PTS.
There are a number of bonuses found throughout the zone, including:
Double harvesting resources from regular crafting nodes
Double reward drops for defeating any Boss
Double rewards from Clockwork City daily and weekly quests
Additionally, you’ll be able to obtain Event Tickets from the Impresario Event Merchant.
You can earn two Event Tickets by completing any Clockwork City Daily Quest, once per day per account
The Impresario will also have the Gilded Indrik Feather to purchase with Event Tickets.
