How do you decide what character to login to?

I usually log in my Sorc as I'll mostly want to PvP plus to collect my hirelings but now I'm learning my StamDen so I log in on him

I need to use my Magic Warden and Stam Sorc more

Usually I do them in order, though I often leave the current toon doing JC until last so s/he can decon all the rings/necklaces the other toons banked.
Mainly I'm doing writs and the SS delve daily for Culanda Lacquer; occasionally I run a pledge or two.

First always my main to get daily reward (except if there are alliance points then i log onto char who need assault/support skill) after dailies i go to the one I'm currently leveling which right now is my mag/heal argonian warden "Happy-Little-Tree"

First by which character needs maintenance, usually mount training, or crafting. Beyond that it's whichever I am interested in developing at that time.

Depends what I'm planning on doing. For most things I'll just log in on my main.

It depends on whether I have a goal of some sort in mind or if I'm just screwing around and doing whatever I feel like doing.

If I've set myself a goal then the character will depend on the goal (like if I'm looking to get a few characters to tier 1 PVP campaign rewards so that I'll have some incoming transmute gems, then I'd usually log into characters who could use some leveling up of their Alliance skill lines, or if I want to do some Summerset dailies to get the rewards from them then I'll log into a character who I'd like to get those achievements on, or if I'm joining guildies for trials then I'll log into the character needed for the role I'm doing, etc).

If I haven't set myself any sort of goals and I'm just looking to play a bit for *** and giggles, then I'll just hop on whatever character I feel like playing at that moment in time. That's usually partly based on which characters I haven't played in a while, and partly based on the build and playstyle for those characters. That's also the reason why I've got so many characters: so that if on a given day I feel like playing XYZ combination of race/class/build I've got a character that can do that.

First I do writs on all my characters, and then depending on the mood, I might do pledges on my cp levelled characters. It’s just whatever I feel like doing at the time.

Depends on what my plan is. If I'm going straight into PvP I pick one character. If I'm doing writs I cycle through a bunch ending with my original main. Or maybe I'm working on one of my many characters that need work.

Normally I go to my main character first. Then any that need mount training.

If I am logging in because someone has asked for me to play a role via out of game communications I will go to that one first.

If they are going to keep this locked class system it would be really nice if there were some sort of account-wide achievement tracking so that I could feel like I wasn't "wasting time" on my alts.

This is a good question, I have no idea...

I have 2 accounts, so my first obstacle is which account to login to. One account is max CP, the other is about 450 CP. The 450CP account i use for specifically stamina characters, and on my max CP account I have my magicka characters and a couple tanks.

- Endgame veteran trials & Skin runs > main account > pet sorc (character i feel the most comfortable on and my main for 3 1/2 years)
- Weekly vMA runs > main account & stam account > pet sorc, magblade, magplar, stamplar, stamsorc
- Craglorn trials > stam account > stamsorc (still need more VO and AY on this account)
- Pledges > main account & stam account > pet sorc, templar healer if i'm feeling healy or stamsorc
- Grinding CP > stam account > stamsorc (my stamsorc is the only one that's leveled up to 50)
- Leveling > stam account > stamDK (I want to work on getting this one flawless conqueror next)
- Writs > main account > pet sorc (literally the only character I have crafting leveled on fully)

Edit: The real challenge for me is deciding what I want to do today

It's easy. I always login into my trader\crafter to see what has been sold while I was away and to replenish supplies. Then while doing all my usual shopping\crafting I decide what to do next: questing, trials, dungeons or some blatant exploring and thieving

I've been leveling a MagDK so I've been playing him a lot, though sometimes I still run my main Stamplar around because I love her. Been neglecting my Magblade and now I feel bad about it.

Depends on what I am going to do.. generally I start of with my main char to get the daily log in stuff check the mail for gold en then prob a daily battleground then I pop over to my healer for a daily dungeon or or a pledge or two then I decide what I want to do.. questing or dungeon or maybe trails.. if I want to do trails I have to decide what I want to do dps or healer.. and If I want to do pvp I have an other char for that.

I always login with my main if i actually plan to do something. Else it is round robin and no matter who i login just to get the daily rewards.

Im currently leveling a Stam Sorc because I got bored of always playing a Dunmer (Mag Sorc) so I log in to him. Also, since I try to get every character set up in such a way that they can basically everything, ill be using him for quite some time.

I normally log into my crafter first to pick up hireling mail and any expired guild store sales (he holds and lists all the stuff I'm selling), and to do crafting writs.

After that it's a matter of what I want to do. I have 6 other characters and they're all different professions (2 nightblades but very different builds) and doing different content so as long as I remember what each one is working on it's fairly easy for me to decide which one I feel like playing.

Although sometimes I'll deliberately play one who isn't my first choice because I want to get something done. For example I want to make sure I get through the Dark Brotherhood storyline on my thief/assassin before my main gets to that DLC (doing everything in chronological order) so I can decide if I want her to do the main story even though she'd never normally join the Dark Brotherhood, or skip it and just do the side quests.
