Weapon enchant running out of charges freezes game.

This has been happening to me for years on PS4, and I don’t think I’ve ever heard it discussed. Every time a weapon runs out of charges, my screen will freeze for a full second or so. As soon as it stops, the little red weapon icon appears. It’s not fun.
