Both a low population bonus AND a high population penalty (if no opposition)?

Hey. Some of you have read my earlier post where I argue for faction/alliance lock in Cyrodil, and how I think this would make for a better and less toxic pvp-experience : https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/434101/we-want-our-cyrodill-back-pc-eu/p1

I also think that a faction lock would even out the inbalance on the different campaigns to a certain degree, since people cant just swap underway to the atm leading faction, but it will probably not be enough to get a really even distribution on the different alliances. We already have the low population bonus wich is working to a certain degree, but what if we also get a penalty for high population if there really is any opposition? Several campaigns on both NA and EU servers have problems with organized groups that night/morning cap and in effect often decide campaigns doing pve. Personally I think that since we only have one pvp zone, it should better reward actual pvp, and I think this could be a way to go. What do you other players think?

Another argument for introdicing some kind of high population penalty (when there isnt any opposition) is to make it more enjoyable and exciting for those of us who actually like to pvp, since a campaign then usually isnt won or lost very early on. I am posting my suggestion here on general again, because I want to hear from both you pvpers and you that havent tried Cyrodill yet, or maybe quit playing there, because I want to make the pvp in Cyrodill better and more including for both old and new players:).

Agree. It's a bit offputting when getting overrun by another faction who has way more players on. I find it equally distasteful when my own faction does the same thing. Not to blame any individual or group of players. It's only natural that most of whoever is on will push for keeps and scrolls. I do wish the current system would be changed. Something to where high pop alliances received fewer points, or more guards with greatly increased health and damage were introduced while an alliance has low pop. Maybe even a combination of the two. It's a difficult balance, so it's one issue I personally wouldn't ridicule the devs for. It would be great if they tried something.

Is posting the same relevant topic allowed in different forums sections? May get even more relevant feedback in the pvp and campaign forum sections if so.
