✭✭✭Akaviri and Nords are not even remotely the same. I would love the Naga features as just normal options for Argonians. Why make them a different race? On the matter of Chimer I would say no when you have individuals like St. Veloth and Almsivi even being changed by the curse of Azura, why should some time traveler get off scot-free? Ayleids intermarried with humans and the Bosmer. You will see Ayleid ancestry among Bretons and Bosmer predominately, but to a lesser extent in Altmer and Imperial backgrounds. On the matter of Dwemer I say no. I love the Dwemer. I would love to see a TES game that actually has the Dwemer marching around doing their Dwemer-thing. All of that said I think context matters. In this game the only Dwemer we should ever even remotely have a chance of possibly seeing would be a ghost, Yagram Bagarn, or in some time travelling vision quest to the past. This race is gone for now at least and possibly forever.
I do believe that Lilmothiit, the Imga (gorilla-people of Grahtwood), the silver-skinned human savages known as the Kothringi (from Argonia) and the Maormer certainly -could- be possible options in my view but they do press a certain level of strange for the series. And yes, time travel is lazy writing, plus somebody forgot that the psijics focus around sealing time breaches amongst many other activities revolving around the old ways, to have an extinct or near extinct race arrive from a time breach or pulled from their current timeline could evidentially lead to something worse than a “Dragonbreak.” (Like tearing open a rift in the fabric of space and time and destroying the very fabric of reality to the point of eternal nothingness.)

The Dwemer, Chimer, and Ayleids are not lore friendly as player character races.
And no, I don't support disregarding the lore in order to make money off the crown store, regarldess of what is or,isn't in crown crates.
So if ZOS wants my money, keep the offerings lore friendly. -

As it happens, I spend quite a fair amount of money on the store. But I wouldn't buy races like you've suggested. -

✭✭I'm not sure it's a good idea. There's a tendency for paid races and classes (Imperial and Warden) to be either nerfed later (red diamond) or being left out in many departments (magicka warden DPS). Who knows, maybe ZOS is overly careful not to be accused in pay-to-win tactics.
But then again, who needs a new race when there's Welkynar motif that automatically gives +100% to awesomeness, makes every class viable and enables wearer to understand pigeon language. (And if you're not viable in latest trials, not to worry, it's available from store for just 5999.99cr. Oops, I think I gave them an idea for major development focus over next months - fractional crown values, for those wonderful Apple-like prices that make marketing people happy.) -

Which is why I am not wanting new passives, just different combinations or templates of existing ones. This is purely to give MIN/MAXers other options and new flavor to the game.

Right and one of the most important things when selling something is to figure out if people actually want it. By cutting out the people who wouldn't buy this one specific you are ruining your own data... it's sad. By biasing the poll you're blatantly hiding the reality that most people don't want this.
I've probably spent more on the crown store than your average joe by a longshot, still think this idea is awful. I frankly would rather move all passives into external packages not tied to race at all; that would remove the conflict between race a player associates themselves with and natural desire to be able to rise to the top, even just potentially. I'm frankly tired of having to heavy attack (or gimp myself for 300 weapon damage) because I'm not a redguard. I wouldn't judge people who enjoy the feeling of being born inferior for having tail and claws, by all means, but I'd rather keep it to the lore and out of game mechanics.
