Would be nice if there was an eso app to claim the daily login and do horse training
Dont get why there is so many negative replies here. Dont any of you ever go on vacation without your computers?

It would be nice if it was log in, click and done. But for me by the time my creaky old PC finally boots up 10 mins have passed, then 4 or 5 mins to actually login. Then 2 or 3 mins to shut down. A 20 minute job. But this isn't what bothers me, it is the fact that sometimes you can't log on, full stop. In July I was on a weeks vacation, no chance to log in, luckily that month it was only 21 log-ins to get the "star prize". This month if I had gone on vacation there is no chance to get the 100K gold. OK, it is just "tough", but maybe a good compromise would be have the star prize at 21-23 days or something, but still have rewards like experience scrolls etc out to the end of the month.
I'll be on vacation in November and most likely be unable to get the Murkmire reward from the daily login. But you know what, who cares, it's a game. And the login reward is just that, a log in reward. It isn't Zos' fault that I or anyone else has real life things that prevent logging in. Zero accommodations need to be made. Sometimes you can't log in, get over it.
Should be an alternative to get it atleast since even the most loyal to games can't login every day
What if the missed days could be "caught up" by paying 50 Crowns per slot? For ESO+ members that's the full 1500 crowns for a 30-day month. If you know you'll miss a few days or aren't totally sure what your schedule may contain later it can act as an alternate form of supporting the game and securing your position on the grid.
Some of you might have age but seriously lack maturity. Pose solutions that benefit everybody rather than bashing people that may not be as fortunate with their available time. Shame on you.

Maturity is understanding that maybe a dialy log in reward isn't for everybody all the time. And that adults may need to make sacrifices in their lives to get what they want, and a video game reward is the least sacrificial thing to give up. There is no need to pose a solution because there is no problem that needs to be solved.

Yu mean the same people who are calling others "no-lifers" and other nonsensical terms because they lack the basic though process required to be able to manage to squeeze in something that takes two minutes at the most to accomplish? Those sound like some real mature individuals to me.

A small portion of Crowns in exchange for a login-free day is a sacrifice as well. The objective is to deliver a system that promotes game activity and support. Someone not being able to log in and being counted as a non-entity is the opposite of that and a problem worth solving.

This is the type of unproductive bashing I'm referring to. "It just takes 2 minutes" isn't a solution to their problem.

Ok, here's a solution, get up 2 minutes earlier? 10 minutes earlier? The entitlement is so strong with some of you. " I can't do the thing required to be rewarded, but I deserve to be rewarded anyway!" In what world?
Everyone wants a participation trophy just for being there, now they want participation trophies without even being there. Wow.

It's not a matter of entitlement, it's about getting people to interact with the game and ways to keep giving to it without being required to integrate it into your daily routine. This is the first iteration of the live login reward system so there's still room for improvement, there's no denying that. Games make changes to benefit and raise participation of more players all the time.
The primary benefit ZoS gets strictly out of logins right now is eyes on the Crown Store splash screen that a certain percentage of the player base will turn into store purchases. They don't care that you log in, they just want the sales. The rewards are just the bait to get more people in-game for any period of time.
My initial comment was addressing the unnecessarily uncompassionate comments being made in lieu of potential improvements to the system in order to accomplish the same goal while benefiting more players. Continuing to deride those that may hold opposing opinions only serves to demonstrate that your input is unproductive to this discussion. As such, you should remove yourself immediately to prevent the original topic from being diluted with slander and hyperbolic assumptions.
OK, you guys win. I will accept your argument that if you really wanted to you could log in, no matter what is going on in your life, but please for the love of all that is holy tell me what rig you are running that you can turn on, log into Windows, log into ESO, get through the loading screens, collect your reward, log off, power down PC in 2 minutes, because if you seriously can I am buying that tomorrow.

Why even bother shutting a PC down, this isn't the 90's so leave that bad boy running like normal people have been doing for like the past 2 decades.
If your PC takes forever to boot up it's either hot garbage or you're having a bunch of unnecessary progs fire up at startup, either way that's on you.

At this point I don't even know if I will get the costume, there are many days where I am out of town and can't play too.

I think rather than having timed rewards, why not make it so the rewards are static and those who are able to log in more often gain them faster while at the same time those of us who are unable to login every day will still get them, albeit at a slower pace ?
