PVP gear question

I have made a light armor set for my sorcerer for PVP. I made 5/5 Shacklebreaker, impen.

Is impen good for sorcs, or should I have done infused for more magicka?

Impen is a must for PvP if you don't want to get evaporated in a couple shots, especially with light armor.

I put 81 into bastion on my sorc, and that puts me in a comfortable place to go with infused on my head, chest, and legs.
The rest are definitely impen.

That works for me, but your personal results may very. Play around and see what works best for you.

Impen is used to resist additional damage from crits. So, it's universally useful in PvP and utterly useless in PvE.

As I recall, attacks against shields cannot crit, however, any hits that you take beyond that will still apply critical damage. At that point, it's better to have crit resist than not.

In CP PvP, you can pick up some crit resist from that system, however, this is not the case in Battlegrounds. You can also pick up Crit Resist from the Impregnable set. The only real value here is that you could run Impreg in Divines for an improved standing stone bonus, or in Infused for increased stats. But unless you have something specific in mind, those advantages are dubious.

So, yeah, Impen for everything.

Impen until you know what you're doing & more importantly how/when to lean on the OP'ness that is shields, then you go divines.

My Sorc is currently running, Lich Neck is now gold and I've switched to using Engine Guardian set atm
