VMA stage 9 endless snare bug
Been working on getting flawless on my stamplar... sorry "STUPlar", which seems to be an errand of eternal frustration. Such a useless class for this. No mobility, no sustain without a body on the floor, no burst, healing class that can't heal, just all crap. Can't believe I ever thought getting a stam sorc through there was hard haha. Serious kudos to all the flawless stamplars out there. I have flawless on every other stam and mag class, so I know the drill. Stamplar just sucks at it, or I suck at stamplar, and I am slowly growing to hate this character. Guess there's a reason Alcast calls it 'insanity mode' hehe. Rant over, anyway...
Was on stage 9, on my first actual flawless run in at least 50+ attempts, argonian behemoth's bleed bug having ended most of them. Got to the final boss, took out the clannfear to open the portal to go upstairs, and ended up getting snared by him just before he died, because you can never have too many snares, right? Took the portal immediately as those stupid chains popped up at my feet and didn't have much stam for a roll dodge out. Anyway that snare never ended. Tried cleansing, roll dodging, immovable pot, everything, just permanently stuck moving at 20% speed, and that's *with* VO's major expedition procced. The snare debuff icon was just sitting there flashing saying 0 seconds left, for about 15 seconds. Couldn't keep up with the rotating wall of course, with predictable results. Boom, down into the lava, crem guard in the face, can't even move... dead. Yup, thanks for that.
Has anyone ever seen this bug before? If so, is there a way to avoid it? Never encountered it until tonight.
