.Well, first you need to decide if you wanna go with a more burst oriented playstyle or a "permawolf" playstyle, because the choice of gear and playstyle are very different.
"30 Second burst wolf"
Alcast´s "Rage" setup is a good example of a "30 Second burst wolf" build. You buff up in human form, turn into werewolf to take down tankier targets and once your "human buffs" runs out you go out of werewolf-form. With this playstyle you don´t wanna stay to long in werewolf form since you don´t have the means to stay alive by yourself unless you´ve a pocket healer with you. This playstyle is in general more "beginner-friendly"

If you want to go for this playstyle, you don´t have to make any bigger changes to your werewolf next patch.
"Permawolf"
Compared to the burst-wolf playstyle you´ve to build your werewolf a bit different. The goal with this playstyle is to stay in WW-form for longer periods of time without having to turn back to human form more than necessary. These builds often sacrifice a lot of their "human potential" but in return they become really good once transformed. Usually more difficult to execute compared to the "burst wolf" but much more rewarding once you get the hang of it (just my personal opinion). You also have to make sure to cover "necessary" buffs on your own since you can´t always rely on other to provide that for you (if you play solo that is)
So with Wolfhunter you don´t have to utilize Pelinial anymore. However this means that if you want to get a powerful heal, you´ll have to increase your max health quite a bit. So when in comes to choice of gear you want to take a look at sets that offers any kind of health bonuses. While the heal will scale of max heath, I suspect it will still cost magicka. Therefore magicka recovery will become an important stat. Since you´ll be "forced" to spec more into health to get decent use out of the heal, your max stamina and weapon damage will most likely become lower than before. But you never needed 6k weapon damage to be effective as a werewolf anyway.
So with that in mind what sets are interesting to look at next patch?
If you´re interesting in discussing these kind of topics I highly recommend writing in this thread:

But in general you want to go for a tankier approach with more focus on sustain and stats rather than going for high weapon-damage. I also highly recommend running werewolf in a group (preferable with 3-4 other werewolfs). While it is possible to solo and 1vX as a werewolf it´s not something I recommend doing if you´re un-experienced with werewolfs. Werewolfs shine the most in small groups with support from healers and other werewolfs.
