Which features from other games would be good in ESO?

These aren't necessarily from other games, just a few ideas (some bad, some worse) that came to mind.

1 - Mannequins to store armor sets/racks for weapons

2 - Jewelry crafting in the base game and not behind a pay wall

3 - Take BG's competitive with real life tournaments and rewards ($$$) to breathe new life into the game. If Fortnite can do it with ridiculous items like a plunger that has a machete through it, ESO can as well.

    4 - Separate queue/population caps for IC.

5 - Add trade routes in Cyrodiil that function similarly to Bruma/Cropsford/Vlastarus. There would be 3 connecting each alliance with 3 - 5 locations along the trail to control. The more locations/flags controlled, the bigger the ap bonus or Rewards of the Worthy. It would spread out the fight and help to reduce lag.

6 - Bounty system in which opposing factions could place a bounty on an opposing guild/player. There would be a daily limit on how many times a bounty could be placed on an individual/guild. Maybe incorporate a 4th, mercenary/assassin faction that a character could join but be locked into for the duration of the campaign.

7 - I saw a thread with an idea for a Tower event that was part PvE, part PvP in which teams entered a tower and fought to the top to reach a reward, fighting with World Bosses and people when they are encountered. I can't find the post and I'm paraphrasing horribly but I liked the sound of it.

8 - Stamina version of Vicious Death in which a player explodes from disease/poison damage upon death and infects those around them.

    tl:dr
    None of this will happen.

We need to be able to search by text for bank deposits, as well as bank withdrawls.

The fact that we can't search by text for deposits, like, really doesn't make sense. :)

We should be able to search by text for anything.
The fact that add-ons do this makes it blatantly obvious that players desperately want it.

-Auction House; having to travel around multiple zones and cities hoping to find that specific trader is a bit of a hasle. Being able to leave your stuff up on the AH for longer times if you want, rather than get your mail flooded with the expired items.

    -Search bar on the traders.

-Account wide unlock of transmogs for your characters. Same with certain achievements.

-more mounts, pets or transmogs awarded through difficult or long/meta achievements. Something more than dyes.

-Ability to change the scale (or just vertical size) and/or style of health bars when in a party or raid. This would be helpful, especially for healers.

-the ability to have this engaging dismount in Guild Wars 2 is pretty cool. It made you feel more as if the mount was a mount instead of a buff, and you could go in guns-blazing into combat right then and there.

Yes, of course, from Morrowind. I'm not sure what you're implying with the question.

[. . .]Dark Souls is a completely different style of combat and aesthetic. It basically has people swinging anime sized weapons like Monster Hunter.
Imo I feel the weight of weapons in ESO combat. When I am in a fight I feel that fight. There could be ways of creating more fluid combat BUT I don't want to encourage players to just click their mouse. [. . .]

Those franchises are actually nothing alike! It's a comparison that gets drawn a lot by people on the outside looking in. That statement is also a great disservice to the combat of both franchises. (The weapons in Monster Hunter are hilariously large, I'll grant you that.) They do have a few things in common, though, that actually ESO does, too--stamina/resource management, character build creation that allows intimate specialization via different gear traits and stat management, and arguments could be made for the need for environmental awareness/positioning, the grind, and the "difficulty." In regards to your concern that more fluid combat would encourage people to button spam, I think that can be avoided very tidily. Soulsborne and Monster Hunter both excel at punishing people that think they can button mash their way through, and, generally, in a very swift and brutal way.

    . . .

You're right, though. I don't personally think ESO should "play like Dark Souls." Actually, things need to stop trying to "be Dark Souls." I think you can learn a few things from Soulsborne without copying it mechanically, particularly how the weapon impacts feel and new ways to think about how people create a character build. It won't happen, of course, but it's a fun discussion, and I just had to express love for a franchise that's very dear to me when I saw the opportunity. :')

I'm glad you think the combat in ESO is buttery. I don't feel that way!

Background loading of everything so there are not loading screens

This is already the case, within a zone.

Run too fast... and you might find a "random" loading screen in the middle of a zone, because you reached an area before it could be loaded.

Secret World Legends' patron Auction House delivery system-- you get the items immediately upon purchase instead of waiting for a finicky mail system

GW2's Auction House, with minimum protective pricing and instant buy/sell across every megaserver's marketplace

GW2's combat system without backbars and with easy weapon switching

Skills and traits on level-up like in SWTOR/GW2, and skills are automatically leveled with you. Leave crafting and guild/world skill leveling as is.

Solo-able or story mode dungeons like SWTOR's solo flashpoints

Secret World Legends' AOE telegraphing visuals-- you can see when the skill is about to take effect

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

Character wallets shared across characters like in Gw2.

    example:

    Character A has 100 gold

Character B has access to that 100 gold and could add to it without having to run to the bank

A consolidated and public auction house has been a long time coming. The only thing the current system does is put players who don't use addons at a disadvantage and contribute to price check spam. There isn't (and never really was) a good reason not to implement one. The earlier arguments used to defend the guild trader system has already been thoroughly debunked and rendered pointless by the aforementioned addons anyway. It literally adds nothing of value to the game and just hinders newer players who don't have access to a trade guild.
