Hey all.

I have been playing this game on and off since the beginning. But today I will be leaving u. I have played alot of pve, but for me the pvp was always the most important since it was the only endgame for me and the most challenging. But lately the pvp enviroment have become more and more toxic. New players are being harrased and t-bagged and in Cyrodill more and more people are just playing to troll others and farm AP. I started out in Vivec, but left after AD had morning capped several years in a row and won all until Pact won last month (after I left:) ). Vivec had become a pvp-zone where most of the points was being won fightint npcs, so really in some way it had become a pve-arena. Then I joined Sotha Sil (the no CP) and found it abit better even thou here the Pact was extremely dominating, but at least they wasnt just morning capping. But the pvp enviroment here was even more toxic, and today I finally had enough. A DC player (I always play DC) took our scroll and delivered it to the Pact, and when I talked about it in zone I only got called names for even caring about DC winning the campaign. Another player in my group quite the game just before me (he/she said they might join again later thou), but for me I think I have had enough.

I know this forum post soon will be full of "crybaby", "L2P pvp"and other such nice replies, but I know that there are very many like me also. If not ZOS and the ESO community do something soon, I think that this game will not survive. I for one can not recommend it to any of my friends (most already left, but would come back if things improved). I always play to the best for my fractrion and when people behave like this I loose all motivation to play. It is like a footballplayer scoring an own goal on purpose and saying "I play the way I want". And if some of ur other teammates call u names for caring afterwards, would u really continue playing?

Gl to u all thou.

Sir Not So Brave (DC)

Maybe they could reduce the population allowed at certain points, so you dont have a capped alliance and some alliance with barely people on it.

There's something kind of depressing about putting in the effort to take a scroll, worth 10 points for your faction's score and watching a cross-faction spy hand it over to your opponents. Its worse now that scrolls make such a big impact on the score.

I'm a firm believer that everyone should play well for the faction you've logged in for, whether you are a faction loyalist like myself or whether you are a cross-faction player. Not being able to trust players on your own faction makes for sometimes tiring gameplay.

Sir not so brave, sad to hear this.

I wish there was alliance lock on campaign, that would stop almost all of trolling and the unfair & dirty tactics. Some people are just switching characters to move scrolls and take objectives so that it benefits their main alliance and/or just pure AP farming/trolling urges. The alliance pride and good sportsmanship feels gone and Cyrodiil has lost lots of its fun things, for me too. Makes me sad.

Alliance lock only has good sides, if people wanna play with friends, they can always do it in another campaign, so that excuse is not valid imo. There is NO excuse to be able to switch sides any minute back and forth. But negative impact it has a lot. I wish ZOS would notice the topic about this same thing and act on it and make Cyrodiil more fun and fair again.

I hope you dont end up leaving though, i know its pain when see personal hard work and battles for your own alliance be for nothing when see some just play dirty. Dont think many players are the same though, all sides have fair and honest players too and we all just have to be open about the things we see and wish ZOS does fix things so less chances for such things to even happen. But there is a small group of people who do anything to control the scores. I wonder how some can be so obsessed about winning that they forget the pvp is supposed to decide it, not switching characters in alliances for dirty moves, toxicity and manipulation.

    #AllianceLockedCampaigns ZOS please? <3

I know what you mean. Last time I logged in I saw 2 groups on different alliances working together. Both with the same guild tag.

Game has been broken for ages, making most players actually give up on playing for the objectives, and instead just troll. Which snowballs, making more not care.

The PVP game is dead, it just hasn't realized it yet.

Unfortunately their are guilds that are desperate for AP and faction hop round up pugs and lead em to the slaughter. . as well as steal scrolls as mentioned by the OP.

The problem being that faction locks won't solve the problem as they already have a spy in other factions ready and willing and when they are AP farming they are just after the easiest kill not the best fight.

While i agree it is a problem. . The players that do such things aren't exactly admirable people. Some even go as far as scamming their own guild mates. And also aren't above leading their own to the slaughter to be farmed for AP.

it is a human nature problem not a game problem.

The only real thing that can be done to improve on this issue is nerfing Zergs. . .forcing more 1v1 action. But then you will just see a bunch of gankers running around looking for the easy kill instead of a fight...It will never end.

    Greetings,

It is rather unfortunate to hear that you will no longer be joining us in Tamriel. However, we have decided it best to close this thread as 'Goodbye' threads tend to bring out the trolls. We do hope that you will give it another go and return in the future. Until then, take care friend.
