Hey ZOS, I have a small suggestion I'd like to see implemented.
I love the music in ESO, it's beautiful - but after prolonged play I tend to turn it off because I get into the world easier without it. This is all fine and well - but there's one place in the game that audio settings don't apply - the opening Splash Screen, before you even choose server and character. When in-game I like to hear footsteps and ambient sound, so when music is off - I tend to increase the volume to better immerse in the sounds - but that means generally my TV is set to higher than normal volume, which comes into play next time I boot up the game...
This splash screen comes in like the Kool-Aid man, busting people's eardrums to bits, and it does get quite annoying. I mean yeah - the TV has volume buttons, but it's a little silly I have to turn it down when booting up the game, then as soon as I load in turn it back up.
The way I see it; either get off my lazy butt, walk over across the room to the TV adjust the volume twice when turning the game on - or be the victim of an audible bombardment that makes the audio torture in Guantanamo look tame.. I personally don't find either option that appealing.
It would just be nice of the no Music setting applied to the Splash Screen. It's not a huge change but it would make me happy - unlike the heartattacks I receive when I forget to adjust volume and the music blares.
