Does anyone else at all have this mount?

I was looking through my mounts, and noticed my dragonfire wolf radiant apex mount. I don't think I have ever seen anyone else ride one, ever. I'm on PC/NA. Has anyone else seen them, know who has them? Or are they really that rare?

Sorry to say they won’t be rare for long.

The crate seasons have been coming back around ... and players are piling up more gems because they already have items in those past crate seasons.

Do you mean the Coldflame Atronach Wolf? There aren't any mounts called Dragonfire and that's the only fire wolf that's also a radiant apex mount.

Anyway, all the radiant apex mounts are very rare drops so only a minority of people will have them at all. And chances are the ones that do will open a lot of crates, so they'll have lots of other mounts to choose from and may want to use many/all of them, or only use ones which suit their characters.

For example I have the psijic horse (normal yellow version, not the radiant apex) but I only use it occasionally on 3 of my 8 characters because it doesn't suit the others and I have other mounts I want to use as well on those 3.

Same goes for all the mounts actually. Think about how many people got (and were using) the fire panther when Summerset was released vs. how many use it now. All those people will still have it, and it's unlikely the majority of them quit, so the obvious conclusion is they're just choosing not to use that mount right now.

Are you including the Cinder Wolf radiant apex mount?

Actually, there are both the coldfire atronach wolf and the dragonfire wolf. I actually own both. The second one is from the scalecaller crown crates. Here is an eso page on the second one, the one I was actually asking about. I saw Dragonfire Wolf on PC EU few times - it felt as rare as Galvanic Steed (I saw it few times too), but a bit less rare than Shadow Rider senche, based on what I saw.
Don't worry, there are other people who have this mount - just not everyone likes it enough to ride, it depends on personal taste For example, one of my friends has Dragonfire Wolf and never uses it cause he thinks it's poorly done mount - he prefers to ride current Radiant white wolf.

I'm on xbox and I've seen quite a few people with the wolf mounts so I would say that while they are some what rare there is still quite a lot of people that have them, also on xbox I'm pretty sure the shadow rider senche is the rarest mount from that crate season.

Some ppl just don't use their excessively animated mounts because there is enough lag and loading issues and they don't want to make it even stronger or worse. The reason I stopped using my Apex Flame Atronach Guar mount long ago.

Super low drop rate + many players + some of the 'lucky' ones may not care about flaming wolves + dozens of other mounts to ride = no, you don't see another one passing you on the street very often.

Kind of like how there's a bunch of Ferraris & Lambos in the world, some of them may even be in my city, but I've never seen one drive by.


(plus the part where you're riding east down the street in Alinor, and the only other guy in Summerset with one rides through the intersection behind you. Or you're looking at your inventory when he rides past. Not being 360° view/omniscient, there could be a couple near you every day and you wouldn't know it.)

It occurs to me that the only time I even notice what mounts other people are using is when staging on the bridge in HRC.

My friend had a radiant apex (Vitrine Dwarven Wolf) fall out of one of those free daily reward crates. I think it's a little unfair to make assumptions about the amount of money that people have spent to get their mounts. Remember that a 0.04% chance doesn't mean someone will get one 0.04% of the time.

Anyway, Dragonfire Wolf. There's someone on PS4 NA that runs around Daggerfall on one sometimes. There's also someone that runs around on the Plague Husk Horse, which makes me green with envy.
